Product Information:
The Street Racing AI features street race mode and traffic mode, along with the ability to race on any road type while dodging traffic and overtaking opponents (returning to traffic mode after race). This asset includes a complete traffic system with AI vehicles and traffic light crossings, as well as a city blockout with streets and freeways.
Street Racing AI Abilities:
- Calculate throttle, brake and steering
- Street race mode (racing against any number of opponents in of any type of city, freeway or highway)
- Traffic mode (obeying traffic laws)
- Dodging traffic vehicles efficiently while overtaking opponents
- Returning to traffic mode at race end
- Reverse out if blocked
Features:
- Finish Zone with transition to traffic mode
- AI traffic vehicles (sedan/van/coupe/SUV)
- Traffic light crossings including light sequence function
- Speed limit override trigger for different areas
- RPM based engine sound function (replaceable sound file)
- Collision sound effect function based on vehicle speed (replaceable sound file)
- Third person and first person (cockpit view) with movable camera
- Vehicle light functions (functional reverse and brake lights for all vehicles)
Street Racing AI Customizability:
- Customizable traffic dodging accuracy parameter (higher values lower risk of AI colliding, but collisions can‘t be prevented completely)
- Customizable throttle intensity for street race or traffic mode
- Customizable traffic mode speed limit in MPH
- Full vehicle customizability (frame, wheels, interior, suspension and engine setup)
- Variable update interval for Street Racing AI actors (blueprint)

The deformation system is not activated inside this product, but the necessary components can be imported from the city sample demo, although this can be a complex process. All vehicles are still in their original form, exactly like they're presented inside the city sample vehicles asset www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/city-sample-vehicles

You should've shown us what the ai would do if you hit it. really hard to judge this asset from this video.

The AI will recover from all crashes and will be able to find and drive back to the customized race route. It will try to dodge every other player, street racing AI, or traffic AI as long as it detects them via its visual field which faces to the front direction (panning out to the left and right) of the vehicle. So if you try to attack it from the rear it will not be able to see you, but if you brake check it from the front then there is a general possibility for it to be able to dodge your maneuver. Either way, it will always try to prevent further colliding in any hit event by steering into the opposite direction of the detected hit event location and navigate back to the race route.
