Infact his exact words are - "We will collide on that first exchange then that will be it, he will be put away within the first 4 minutes" - Connor Mcgreggor
All the hype aside, this man has changed my life. He has shown me that believing in yourself is most important. And if you work hard and truly believe, you can achieve anything. #AndNew
Yep! Living proof that law of attraction and every fucking thing he has been talking about actually works. The mental and the training philosophy he follows and practices is what got him here.
@@pommemelon7026 @pomme melon Absolutely not. He used to be legit. But you can see a shift from the pre-money fight, focused, humble, hungry McGregor, and the shadow he became afterwards. And it's just a shame.
+LEAN QUATIFA hahah it was literally overwhelming ... Everywhere I looked 'McGregor will DIE" 'Aldo will kill him' .. now... gone like a fart in the wind
+Top10MetalSongs Huge Aldo fan here and was really hoping for him to win and let be the first to say that was no lucky shot, Conor beat Aldo like a bad step child. He killed Aldo like if it was nothing because.... (gulp) he's simply on another level. I would say that there is no need for a rematch, Aldo was tense, he looked scared, no excuses, Conor is the real deal, nuff said.
"Precision beats power, timing beats speed." A quote worthy of Bruce... Damn he's on top of the world right now, truly inspirational. I still remember him saying back in 2012 "Who the fuck is Jose Aldo?". Conor is the greatest athlete I've ever seen, I guess this is what it was like to watch Ali back when he stopped Liston after all the trash talk. Virtuoso performance.
Sad but true. In his defense, most any young man that goes from being a broke unknown to being the biggest and wealthiest star in the sport in just a few years would change the way Conor has. And while he has certainly calmed down from the time when he was going from scandal to scandal, it seems like the sport really is behind him now. I'm happy for him, but I just wish he'd stop teasing a serious comeback if he doesn't intend to do it. If he *really* wanted to keep fighting, he would've fought at least once since January.
The most entertaining run in the ufc. Hope he makes a comeback but will never forget all the memories he gave us all. Love or hate everyone still tuned in
Calm, Zen, incredibly lethal. This Conor would've beat any Fw or Lw on the planet IMO with this kinda focus. I dunno if he's ever gonna be like this again though
"I felt when we stared down, I felt his right hand was twitching, which was a subtle tell for me. He is ready to unload that right hand and I feel that will be a downfall for him. if he lets that right hand go, I will not be there. I simply enter the way I enter, and that is enough, they either overextend or they shrink away, but either way it is not good for them. I will create traps and dead-space inside that octagon and i will walk him into that dead space, but all of a sudden he will be in danger. We will collide in the middle of the octagon and José will fall on the first exchange" - Conor McGregor
In all honesty Connor isn't the best striker, wrestler, jijitsu artist but he is probably the smartest fighter. The guy can really get into your head and make you fight emotionally which makes you fight sloppy like that and get caught on the chin. You can tell it's all mind games because hes a complete humble nice guy after the fight. Reminds me so much of Anderson Silva.
Marv1987 have you seen his fights not an ounce of jijitsu in them i didnt say he doesn't know jiu jitsu i said its not the best idiot. his stand up is decent just lands accurate punches with barely any power behind them so no hes not the best striker either idiot. Anderson Silva took steroids to help him recover from his broken legg that year before that he has dominated the entire sport of MMA without steroids. so don't call him a steroid fuck and act like his entire career was based off steroids.
Marv1987 okay once again all i said was his jijitsu isnt the best didn't say he has NONE. a lot of people can strike while stepping backwards lol wtf does that make them all god strikers.and i did say he is a very accurate striker. your blowing this over your head, the point was his entire gameplan is to get into his opponents head and make them play sloppy and thats exactly what anderson silva does. and his unconditional step back strikking anderon silva does really well also if you've ever watched one of his fights....
Marv1987 don't tell me you think connor is better than anderson silva...go watch some of silvas stand up and you'll understand. if anything silvas stand up is better.
Huge McGregor fan, so talented inside of the cage. But he (nor anyone else) will ever be greater than Anderson Silva. Period. Plain & simple. And the guy who said Silva has nothing on Conor when it comes to striking, is clearly a new fan. Silva could stand in one spot & dodge punches like he was Neo in The Matrix. Conor (nor anybody else) will ever be able to do that. There will never be another Anderson Silva. Never. The Michael Jordan/Muhammad Ali of MMA. That's a fact.
“I’m sure that will surface that I did say that exact shot” Then security cam footage surfaces of him predicting that exact shot backstage before the fight.
@@ahmadimadsemakharun6633 No hate or anything but I’m pretty sure Conor absolute smashed Nate’s face in both fights, Nate just got hold of him in his first fight and submitted him.
@@adammacdomhnail2014 didn't Conor engaged on the ground? He did a double-leg on a black belt and got tapped, but that was the old Conor and his shitty cardio
As much trash as I talked about McGregor I'll be the first to admit he proved me wrong and made be into a believer. Jose shouldn't get a rematch either, it wouldn't help his career. The only way to turn it around and for him to bounce back is to move up a weight class and make some good fights there and maybe be a contender for the belt. I kneel before thee KING CONOR.
God DAMN, I'm so jacked... I was kind of hoping for a bit of a war, but a record breaking knockout will do... Genuinely feel bad for Aldo. Hope he comes back stronger, regardless of what happens with Conor moving to Lightweight.
How anyone can dislike this legend is beyond me, ya he acts cocky and talks a lot of shit, but that's only to his opponents and when he's doing media, that's just a part of the game he's in, but look at him outside all of that, he's humble and respectful, always thanks everyone, always takes time out to take pictures and give the fans his time even though he's so busy, always treats reports and fans with the utmost respect, he evens bows to Megan at the end and thanks her by name, a true class act.
Gives me chills listening to this and watching him speak shit into existence and visualizing everything I’ve learned so much from this dude and it’s insane to see me today see the things I spoke and preached about slowly happening right in front of me it just came sooner than I thought and when I least expected it
As an UFC fan, there's been fights that made me get off my seat and celebrate for a deserving winner. Fights that poured the fighters passion into me... As an Irishman, there's been no feeling quite like seeing a fellow countrymen, a man representing nobody but Ireland, knock a 10 year champion out and becoming the world champion. A great moment to live for and one I'll never forget.
+Black Flash not being butt hurt because I was going for Conor, but chill out. A man with pride that hasn't lost in over a decade and was a champion for 6 years loses to someone who disrespected him for a year straight, and if it wasn't any worst, he got knocked out. Like LAID out, so of course there's gonna be some tears.
+Jimmy Schiff No they didn't. Aldo had a massive cut on his nose, and theres a video on GYAZO (dont have a link) that shows the knockout in slow mo. Stop crying.
I confess i doubted him to the end, not his mad skills and certainly not his moovement, that caught my eye from the first start. I just couldn´t ignore Aldo´s years of domination the same way now i can´t ignore what those 13 secs meant. Like he said, he blew out the whole division in beautiful fashion. A truly unique athlete unbelievably in tune with his art. Now i know...
He's like a genius. Very high fight IQ and intuition. I saw him look down at Jose's right hand as Jose showed a minute flinch during a staredown as he taunted him and he knew and called him out on it saying that'll be his downfall and he'll be KO'd as they were staring. I think he's right, nobody thinks like him. He sees things nobody does and everybody misses. Very detail oriented.
"My phone rings, they call me up and say: 'Conor, your testosterone level is too high.' I say: 'Well, how high was it?' They say: '0.7.' I say: 'What's normal?' They say: '0.6.' I said: 'One-tenth? You're telling me I'm one-tenth higher than the average man? Re-test that - you must have caught me on a low day!" - Conor McGregor
+Jon Campbell and that classless man is the reason the ufc and mma is general is on the rise throughout the world. You may not like his antics but the man is genuine and believes in himself. His trash talk is backed up by fact and sheer belief. Dont think for a second that without conor the ufc would be anywhere like it is now. He was the first global icon, across america and europe for mma. And look what he just did. Incredible.
Jeebuzz uhhhhh no. The ufc was a vessel for Conor. Not saying I'm a fan of her but Ronda drew ALOT more attention from casual fans. The ufc was and would continue to be thriving without him. There's no doubt that like any other young untouchable champion he'll draw a large crowd. But its not some fucking revolution and if you believe it's you must be extremely naïve and new to this sport.
Sokan1993 I see, and here comes the future, thick headed uneducated sheep for fans. Lovely. I really don't feel like continuing to explain why your wrong because it will fall on deaf ears. Enjoys your boys time I'm on top, seems like it'll be pretty long lived.
He was still that guy until after the Alvarez fight. Let's hope he shows this side of him in 2020. But the truth is he has tom make a choice: either being a whisky seller or a fighter. He's gotta be 100% or he'll get knocked out
now that he has accomplished what he has set out to accomplish as for now, he seems very humble. polar opposite of what we are used to seeing. it's hard to doubt or bash him when everything he has predicted has come true. congrats to him. he has satisfied his hunger.
He reminds me so much of Richard Harris..certain mannerisms....Irish through and through....such charisma and charm!.. Bless him!....he has worked so hard for all his spoils....Hope Dee enjoys the new motor ;)
@@Dadaadad268 Cormier has a fucking granite chin. If you don’t believe me, go back and watch how many power punches he eats from multiple different knockout artists throughout his career.
i doubt Conor Many time I didn't believe he has the skill to beat Aldo But now, after his shocking win I will not doubt him again he is the best fighter in UFC history He say it and do it
Alright lads. I'm offering some excuses for all of you doubters. Up first we have the 'It was a lucky punch' excuse. A lot of people want this one. Second, we have the 'Aldo took a dive' excuse. Another very sought after excuse. Get on it. Finally, we have the 'Aldo tripped and banged his head' excuse. Mighty excuse, really credible and totally believable. #AndNEW
"I don't know what I'm feeling" 1:42 its p interesting that even after the fight he never really showed true happiness. He seemed like he got blue balled, he was excited for an amazing fight, a time to shine and he only got 13 seconds. I think this is a common problem with athletes who accomplish everything, they don't know what to do and end up spiraling down into drugs and shit. That's why Adesanya got a therapist as soon as he won the title. Just some food 4 thought
”drugs and shit” i mean yeah definately the man was coked up in the khabib press conference but yeah otherwise I agree you really dont see happiness in his face anymore
Conor rn has come back to this man. He was different at lightweight and then against khabib he was something else. But I believe conor has done a good circle back to this
he is a classy and great sportsman. direct, to the point and not taking any shots or downing of aldo. the left hook was clean, and the awesome pass that he had with his right to set up the left was masterful! not many could pull off that pass, and take a shot in a fight, but he pulled it off. I bet in those 13 seconds it felt like minutes as the adrenaline started to pump and things slowed down. even with him taking the wide left hook from aldo, mac's hit was just too good for aldo to take. great fight, and a classy champion!
