Li was robbed of opportunity to show off his suit, robbed of a favorable matchup against Tony, robbed of a win against D-Rod, and robbed of an appearance in the Thrill and the Agony sneak peak.
Tony decides when it's time. Have always felt it's just a confidence thing. Lost some as an athlete - even tho the same skills were still there. Assume it's the same for the great El Cucuy.
How Tony's face was leaking and Nate looked so fresh. Then hearing Tony talk like he's back. Soul crushing stuff.... Two legends of the fight game though
I’m just glad we didn’t see him vs li watching li vs Rodriguez made me think how bad he would of hurt tony he was so fast and sharp and tony just wasn’t
Man,How Good is Richard Perez More Like A Father Than A Coach...No Wonder Diaz Brothers Beat The Shit Out Of Best Fighters In the World Without A Doubt 💯🙏👑
Khamzat would have sent Nate to the infirmary 100%. UFC 279 mix up was no accident, talk all mess you want just look at the facts. Dana and the ufc had second thoughts. Nate would have been utterly trashed and taken to school. Khamzat was the bigger, stronger and younger fighter. All that cardio don’t mean anything when a monster Chechen is on top of you beating your brains in.
@@BenDover-fc9df lol you may be right, but did you not see how fast Nate sunk that guillotine in?? You can tell he had been practicing that all camp so who's to say that as soon as thumbs up would have tried taking him down he would have sunk that into him? Sure comes out would have put up more of a struggle then Tony but there's definitely a possibility he could have ended it like that, Khamzat is a bitch cuz of all this .
@@BenDover-fc9df cumshot would've been submitted sorry to tell you kid. He's scared and couldn't make weight and now he's shitting his pants at the thought of Paulo Costa
Dude it’s always so funny seeing how nonchalant Nick is with everything. Of course only he knows what he’s thinking and he has always seemed to have a hard time expressing himself but seeing him be just chill and all “wassup” with the head nod and shit always makes me laugh
Seeing Tony like this makes me sad, man. His body wont let him fight the way it used to but his mind just hasn’t realized that yet. In my opinion his legacy is already cemented but i hope he retires and doesnt keep on doing this to himself. Tony’s given a lot to this sport and hasnt received a whole lot back :(
Tony's legacy will be irreparably tarnished with all these back to back to back losses. His career is going the route of BJ Penn's, if he doesn't retire this losing streak will be apart of his legacy.
@@madgavin7568 I hope your wrong. I hope he doesn't go the bj penn route. I was honestly going to say you're wrong, but after I read the BJ Penn part I understand what you mean. His legacy hasn't been tarnished tho
@@honestlee9921 Given how old and washed he looked against Nate, its safe to say he will go down the BJ Penn as he will keep losing to guys he would have easily beaten in his prime. There's only one solution; retirement. Tony's legacy is tarnished because his downfall is now part of his story, you can't talk about Tony Ferguson's career anymore without mentioning his fall from grace. That could have been avoided had he retired after the Gaethje or even the Oliveira loss. But now its too late, a 5 fight losing streak cannot be ignored.
Tony's legacy won't be tarnished because he doesn't have one to begin with. Who did he beat? RDA is his biggest win and that guy came off a KO loss to Alvarez only 4 months before fighting Tony. Then he beat Lee who turned out to be a nobody, and past his prime Pettis and Cerrone. pfft
@@honestlee9921 He is 2 Ls away from the BJ Penn's streak. I would say he had already gone the BJ Penn route if I did not know the context of each loses.
Man the Diaz brothers history is movie material. Some people see them just as thugs or stoners or who knows what but they are the embodiment of martial arts. Real warriors, huge respect for both of them. NDA
We always look at fighters and ask who is the best.. the best is subjective. The Diaz brothers won't win every fight but they will fuck you up if you give them the chance. Legends of the sport.
we're all grateful to Khamzat without him missing weight we wouldn't have gotten this fight, props to Tony and nate for this lovely sportsmanship and respect 💪💯.
Dude missed weight by 8 pounds and beat a striker with zero wrestling no camp who was preparing for another striker😂 impressive win but his team is acting like he just became champion even though he just beat an unranked welterweight “What DO YOU HAVE TO SAY NOW” gibberish sounding like a dollar general version of Leon’s octagon interview
Tony is a warrior man but you can only take so many hits to the head. I think it's enough. Clearly his mental health due to so many blows is deteriorating. His health is what's important
I feel like Kevin Holland is one of those rare UFC fighters that really doesn’t have to worry about getting cut because of losses lol he’s just too likeable and takes on anyone at any time so that even though he’s had a few losses in the past year it really doesn’t lower his stock due to who he fought and the draw he brings regardless of not being a championship winning fighter
Losing like that must mess up with your psyche for sure. He looked down at the end of that fight. Hope he rebounds naturally and becomes happy as he was before.
Doesnt look good on Tony Ferguson, Nate Diaz didnt do striking in his training & still he dominated Tony. Tony is training for Li Jingliang & definitely doing a lot of striking training. Tony that I know wont tap to that choke. I would like to see Tony vs Conor at 170 for his last fight.
I would like to see Tony retired. It's unfortunate but that fight vs Justin G left damage on his body that can't heal. Unfortunately Tony time has come and gone.
Tony made and ass out of himself during the fight and after the fight. He made it seem like this was a legendary fight and a participation trophy. Kind of like if you’re married she calls the cops and says you’re yelling at the walls and threatening to kill her and she doesn’t even take your last name
midwit take. Nate's been training boxing every single day of his life for 2 decades and you think he's gonna fall off because he didn't focus striking in ONE camp? Bro don't type things on the internet, it's already shitty enough.
Tony showed way too much respect to Nate in the fight which imo cost him. He did the same thing in the Cerrone fight in the starting rounds and I rmb his coach told him to stop with that and go after cowboy and we saw how that turned out. I hope he shows out his next fight if he does fight again.
I have been a Diaz from the beginning and I'm glad he won but y'all stop being so hard on Tony. he's an absolute legend and if he wants to keep fighting than let him do his thing. he's earned that right. nothing but love and respect for both men
Tony was trying to impress Nate Diaz the whole time. A guy known for never getting finished, got both Submitted and Knocked out within the last 8 months 🙏
I feel so bad for Tony he really needs to let it go man it hurts watching him like this and it's so cringy him getting up on the cage and the other theatrics after loosing like that
@@stickygusman740 it definitely is cringey because my guy literally hasn’t done shit 💀 u cant say you guys got a superfight and 4 rounds of carnage when u couldnt even cut NATE DIAZ 😭
Tony has been one of my fav’s for years. This last couple years has been a rough fall, and at this point it’s only gonna get a lot worse if someone doesn’t get through to him. He’s not the same guyz
As much as I’m not a huge fan of Tony, I feel bad looking at how much he still loves the fight game and isn’t backing down despite the losses. He has my respect
Happy and sad for Tony n Nate ether way I knew end of the night of fight I would’ve been sad I don’t want not one of them to lose to another but happy Nate got win tony legend 🇲🇽🇺🇸🔥
🔥5:20🔥 How awesome was it to see the look on the face of BJ Penn..? The look of Respect & Joy that was smothered with that harsh reality & acceptance that not only has his time come & gone but witnessing the same fate as yet another Great one from the same era has also ended
The rock star of the UFC!! Who else on earth has one of if not the biggest rock star of all time, treating him likes he's the rock Star!!!!! Awesome!!! Takes a whole lot more than money to do that!!! That's personality!!
I'd like to see a khamzat burns rematch. Doing that to Kevin Holland doesn't really mean anything, we know we can't wrestle, even if he is a black belt he's not on the level of Burns. I think he didn't wrestle Burns cos he knows he'd have been subbed but we'll never know for sure unless we see it. Then again we won the fight away so it probably doesn't matter.
