@@Djc00lnesswell the way he set that right was because of the takedown threat, he tested with a fake takedown to see what he would do, Val immediately dropped his hands to catch it, Bo pulls out then goes for another take takedown but switches to a right overhand that catches Val while he’s about to try and stop that takedown
That's why Khabib's striking work against his opponent. Khabib improved his striking from Ben Askren to average but work better than most people cause everyone's scared of takedown not the punches
@@OogaBoogaBooga6969 Ya dudes a menace. If bo isn't fighting a top 15 you might as well just bet on him for a first round finish. I've had him by first round finish in both his ufc fights. Easy money
I mean it's a good fake. That's what a fake is supposed to do. It's not magic and it's not about being scared, fakes get used in every single form of martial art
I’ve noticed the fastest fighters are usually the ones who came from a grappling based background. Bo, Woodley, Romero, Lombard, Belfort, Mighty Mouse, Dodson, Michael Johnson, Garbrandt etc
Especially when they have hands . He was a wrestler he’s full mma now that boy knows boxing and ju jitsu on a very high level . Bo is just a high level athlete and us high level athletes pick up the skills like a spunge
@@rickeychavarria2771even without hands, if placed in division full of strikers, they'd dominate. Even Khabib was in the perfect division for him. Full of strikers. And wrestlers like Ben Askren would too clear a division quite easily in his prime
Bo nickel is nasty as hell. If you’re an elite wrestler to the point where you fuck up BJJ black belts like it’s nothing, they are forced to stand up with you but they always feel that threat of a takedown. So then you use it to your advantage and catch them with hands and he actually has good hands and his power is crazy. Bo nicker is my favorite new guy
Those level changes and faints he does are so dangerous. Watch how he sees the dude drop his hands on the faint, so he does the faint again, but pops him when he drops his hands. Bo is the Goat
Far from goat status buddy. You got a little too much piss in your vinegar. Chill out and let's see how far he makes it before you keep calling him the goat.
This dude is just as good as Khamzat, I’m sold. Probably doesn’t have the same punching power, but has better wrestling so it evens out. Exciting times ahead
Exactly I see that in him too very skilled in striking and wrestling plus he plays it safe yet doesn't hesitate when sees an opening. This guy could very well be a champ soon
@@renechang2406how can he be a champ very soon, when he hasn't even faced anyone in the top 15, much less the top 10. I know dude looks legit, but maybe let him to do to an actual good opponent before you crown this kid.
@@justsomeguywithafewmoregut4600even if he loses ,he shouldn't even try to make his family proud , his nation proud ? Ur shitting on a dude for believing himself? Do some positive work brother and find hapiness in that .
Bo is scary good, but when he starts facing top competition he needs to keep his hands up when throwing punches. When he throws punches, his other hand drops leaving himself open for huge counter shots if he misses.
Right lol. It looked easy but you can tell bo is super skilled and has patience. It wasn't rushed at all just took advantage at the right time. He has great timing
This guy might have been regional but was definitely on his way up. 7 wins no losses and as we all know now 5 finishes and Bo makes this guy(with striking) Val Woodburn , who is known for striking , look like he wasn't even qualified for street beefs or worse. I am blown away , I could see Bo winning with ground and pound but not boxing he has only been boxing for 15 months , How in the world is this guy coming off with these devastating strikes and landing them on a button.Unbeleivable!!!!! Well here's next year's ESPN fighter of the year I bet!
But man! He’s a wrestler, he is going to be challenged cause he can’t punch! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I expect a Title match to go very similar. Nobody in ufc will be able to compete. It’s going to take another college wrestler of similar collegiate success to challenge. UFC will eventually become the professional league for college wrestlers. This is just the beginning.
People say he's gonna get humbled but forget or don't know no one wants too fight him and he just had a kid.. dude he fought 7-0 pro striker immigrant from Florida quit playing bos a doggg
