Ugly is good. Keep going! When you finish your next sketchbook, go back and look at this one and you'll be surprised how much you will have improved. Love the page with the drips. Suggestion- also date your pages - you may find it helpful later on.🙂
@@colorcapacity2779 Love this idea, I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for watching. I would have never picked the drips as a favorite. But that teaches me a very valuable lesson.
@@dianaluna8283 Thanks for saying that, it’s nice to know that others see something good in them, i never thought there was an emotional component but if that’s what comes across, I really appreciate your feedback
Just saw this for the first time, but it doesn’t look ugly at all! I think all of the sketches has their own personality and looks really dreamy and thoughtful!
aww thank you for saying that, i never thought about it like that …each one is so different and kind of all over .. but to say each has its own personality 🥹 that sounds much nicer, thanks for watching
Not ugly. Is your art! Believe me I've seen really bad art and the artist shows it very proudly. Own it!!! You are experimenting, testing different art media, etc. It takes practice.
Ugly does seem kind of a harsh word- maybe I should have named it something else - i just wanted to show an unpolished, non-perfect sketchbook to show others that everyone makes “bad” “beginner” “messy” “unfinished” work on their journey, not everything we make is beautiful, and that’s ok! Thanks for watching, it sounds like you understand the experimenting/testing part of the process. I will work on “owning it” lol .
@@theartofjeanne Absolutely. Please keep going. It will be interesting to see how you evolve. 😀 Yes, I did experiment for awhile but I've noticed I've rather watch others do the process than doing it. I must say it was fun and I enjoyed it very much.
@@smh_18 oh i definitely have several unfinished and blank, you are not alone in this.. i hop around from sketchbook to sketchbook as well .. thanks for the support, and good luck to you, maybe today will be a good day to crack that baby open and practice..
i agree that you have to make a lot of art and keep going! i’m not sure i could see myself revisiting any of these, but never say never right? thank you for spending time here
