Hmmm, where to start lol First of all, thank you! The way I learned is just going through presets in Serum. Find ones you really like, study the settings and knob positions. Learn the basic wave shapes like sine, saw, square, triangle etc. Start messing around with knobs to see what they do. like Detune, unison, phase, etc. Then start messing around with Envelopes and LFO's. If you don't know what those are you can look up a tutorial, but they are extremely important for creating unique and dynamic synth sounds. I mean, there's really not much better advice I can give besides just mess around with knobs and settings within a synth of your choice, like serum. And learn what all the synth terms mean so you're not just guessing what knobs do. :)

There are 3 different main areas you need to study. The first is sound design. As in making sounds in different synthesizers. You need to pick a synth like Serum and figure out exactly how everything works. Mess around with knobs and see what they do, watch tutorials, try to recreate some famous synth sounds. Eventually you will gain enough knowledge to be able to make any synth sound you want. Mixing and mastering fits into sound design as well. It's not really something I can explain here. It's more of an experience thing. But it's one of the most important things for making a full sounding polished track. The 2nd thing is learning the DAW itself. All the menus and shortcuts, learning automation, sidechaining, etc. This also comes from experience. Tutorials help a lot, but I think the best way to learn is just to mess around with stuff. read tooltips and read menus. And the 3rd thing is music theory. Like how to make chords, chord progression, song structure, melodies etc. Tutorials help with this as well, but a lot of big artists really don't know much about music theory. You can skip music theory all together and just make what you think sounds good as long as you have a basic understanding of music and what works well. Snail's house for example has said multiple times in streams he really doesn't understand music theory. He just does what sounds good out of instinct. Hope that helps. There is really a lot more to it than that, but those are the 3 basic areas that you can start researching and learning.

Thanks man :) The mod wheel is a physical or software wheel that manipulates any parameter you assign to it. For example, it's most common use is to assign a vibrato or pitch bent to it so you can bend notes while you play keyboard. Think of it as the digital version of whammy bar on a guitar basically.

It's mostly just a pulse wave before the drop during the drop it's a pulse wave layered with flute and vibraphone.

I will soon. To be honest Im just embarrassed about using compressors and EQs wrong and stuff like that lol! but I guess its better to let people correct my mistakes so I can learn from it. :)
