Hi wayne excellent,scad are airight and tasty,had to fight off the africans on brighton marina,let alone the chinese who adore scad.we got showed how to debone descale and fry/cook with fish seasoning /with or without taste as good or better than cod as their white fish meat.tasty.ha.ha.
Nice video Wayne , weed latley has been a pain it seems to be everyware hopefully it will clear soon so we can all enjoy what is left of the summer speices, then we can get into the Cod

Hi Wayne. You are really missing out. Scad /Horse mack are one of the best eating fish and have no more bones than a mackerel. Every one thinks they are bony, it's only the armour on its skin that is full of spikes and sharp scales. Do yourself a great favour and take the time once filleted to cut off the skin. It is a taste just like lemon sole. I have taken breaded fillets into my fishing club {Brixham} and challenge people to tell me what fish they think it is. The most common answer is lemon sole. All were shocked when I told them what it was. Do a catch and cook to show people how good it is. Yourself included will be amazed. Monkfish used to be nothing but crab pot bait, same as gurnards, but look how much people like monk and now the lovely sweet gurnard. I eat all scad, that I catch. Tight Lines Wayne, as old Ted Tuckerman would say. From one vet to another, take this as a challenge. I watch every video you do, great content even the blancs, but as you say that's fishing. Well. My mate and I got to the car park at about 4pm ish. I paid for parking and we then had a chat with Mike who coming over the bank. He told us weed would kill us and you had left two hours or so earlier. So despite the loss of the £15 parking fee we went down to west Bex. My mate got his target species of a conger but honestly if it was 3Oz It would have lost 1oz to water dripping off. Much smaller than yours Burgers were good though. Weed!
Hard work in those conditions Wayne,sometimes it’s best to admit defeat and know when to pack up. But you can’t beat a fresh mackerel,still,the cod should be in soon 😜🐟🎣💪

i would eat fish every day if i could get my finger out and go fishing ,but im elderly and disabled so i find it difficult as my mobility is not wot it used to be.
