Take it easy on them, they have joined something meaningful 👍rather than engaging in anti social behaviour. They have time to improve on their basic drill movements.
I’m assuming these guys were in their first few weeks or months based on their level of training. The right hand marker is definitely the most experienced
@@DreadEnder I'm sorry my post annoyed you so much. I was merely suggesting that the age of these children may have something to do with their apparent lack of experience that you were inferring.... revolutionary idea , I know, but for some peculiar reason I thought it may be relevant...
@@contactlight8079 I’m not sure what part of my comment may have led to you believing I was annoyed by your comment but I’ll apologise anyway. I have been in the cadets for over 3 years and I can say that it doesn’t matter how old you are when you join, it matters how much experience you have in the cadets. And that those in this video were likely either at the beginning of their stent or were on a camp where they hadn’t trained for a while.
They need to remember THE KNEE BENT POSITION AND NO HORSE KICKING this is painful BUT Probs for giving it a try drill isn’t easy just gotta keep practicing I do drill every night before bed
I was an Army Cadet from 1972 to 1977. I went on, to join the British Army and serve for 23 years. Seen lots of negative comments with regards to this video. Such a shame!😥 These youngsters are doing something POSITIVE. Their drill will get better with practice and confidence. I wish these youngsters all the best on gheir chosen path. The Cadet Force gave me the values & discipline that i practice today. I'm nearly 64 and i remember with great fondness, my time in the Cadets.👍👍🤜🤜🥰🥰
They are ALL DONKEY KICKING! They are meant to use their own shoulder height when dressing and they are moving a little bit fast when marching, in the last shot the girl in second rank was out of step. That was painful.
a few problems, 2-4 of these cadets aren't confident enough to stomp their feet when closing open file. open file is for inspections usually and doing that on your turnout would be horrendous. (i don't see any badges so these lot are probably basic.) we're not air cadets, don't put your arm out when catching your dressings as my Sergeant would say "how long has your arm been there" marching was good, but the halt was sloppy, don't know if you lot do "step, check, halt" but i'm 90% sure that's correct for all units.
And one day you met a road man on the train and couldn't use your military technique because all you ever learned to do was march aka walk up and down like a robot?😂
@@DreadEnder The command changes depending on how many ranks there are, "in file" is for 1 rank, "in twos" is for 2 ranks and "in threes" is for 3 ranks
@@stapled6764 and detail for one to three people, parade at the start and end of the day for a detachment and wherever your on parade on a camp, company if a whole company is there and county on remembrance or if for some reason the whole county is there.
As a sea cadet…. This is extremely painful to watch…. I see that they do not react when the sergeant says “HALT!”, most of them even hesitate to do the actions!
You have to do 2 paces and then halt after they say the word “Halt” in the Army Cadet Force. Usually remembered and commonly practiced by saying “Check 1 2”
You being a sea cadet means nothing, literally just you trying to say you are better than everyone. These people are clearly new and have time to learn. And it takes 2 paces to stop, The halt was actually the best movement they did here.

WHAT WAS THE OFFICER TO THE FRONT SALUTE I AINT SEE NO 1,1,2 Left Right, up, Two, Three, Down, two, three, four, Five, up, two, three, down, left, right, one, left, right, one, left, right, left, right, left. And the rest of the drill…. No comment.
Please tell me they are basics, and the instructor is a PI, cos that was shocking! And why is what appears to be the DC, standing there chatting during drill? Da fuk?! Your cadets and PI's reflect YOUR leadership and teaching skills, something you are taught on your AITC ffs! If this is the standard now, I'm glad I left! 👀🤦🏼♀️
