Sorry for the delay lately but Ive just been soooooo busy.
Anyway, join me on this short video where we do a bit of UK work in order to get "into position" (rest & location wise) for an epic 2 part trip to.........

Welcome to my neck of the woods, Ben. I live just outside Colchester, and am based in Chelmsford, so I'm up and down that A12 every day. That construction site, just off the roundabout near the services is a new railway station. Over the last decade Chelmsford has grown beyond belief. Keep those Vlogs coming, but, most of all, stay safe out there!!

Great Vid. I drive M25 every day, they go 60/50/40/30 and then back to 70. The only explanation is to catch people on the speed cameras which are active. Safe driving

Remember working, no bridge, only one tunnel. Not even an M25. Had to use Blackwall tunnel to go north.

Hi Ben; when you were in Chelmsford you did comment on a large building site on that roundabout that takes you back to the A12, Just thought to let you know that they have just finished building that huge bridge & now their building a new railway station. Safe journeys mate

Sunday traffic does seem to be really busy, but you can be assured that I am not one of them visiting “granny” and holding you good guys up, although I still travel two or three days for work but try to work from home as often as I can, but thank you once again for taking us with you, it did look a yummy breakfast 😋 xx safe travels xx

The work you spoke of at Chelmsford is the new railway station. Supposed to improve the network and take traffic out of the city centre !! Whilst they have the planners they have it'll never happen. Bloody hopeless 😅 so they are.

Rockingham is closed as a race track now has been for a few years, Vehicle Storage Yard for the most part these days.

Rockingham got closed down due to complaints by the locals who bought houses nearby and then moaned about the noise, it is now used as a car storage facility / car park for one of the big car distributors, real shame.

The m25 is a nightmare most of the time. They put them signs up saying on coming traffic. So they can slow you down and turn the speed cameras on. Plus, to make a gap in the traffic ahead

Rockingham closed now I believe. I delivered building materials to that site when they were building it also Ilmor engineering not so far away and I’m sure you know what they make and who for 😉. It was like a surgical theatre

Hi Ben 👍 Just a quick question ? Planners plan your booking times on a computer I’d think. As you drivers are always early or late who is to blame, for that, because someone has to be responsible ? 1/ is it you drivers to blame (Always eating full English) 2. Planners fault 🤷‍♂️for lack of knowledge & thinking because computer says ! Easy that’s it. 3, car drivers for using the roads, on a weekend as well disgusting 😂 4 lack of road building 5 lack of road network planning 6 To many foreign trucks 🤷‍♂️ 7, Iv often thought if the emergency lane was made for cyclists & ban joy riding in cars, Truck would be able get about like lock down days 👍

Many of the bookings are done days in advance with no prior knowledge which vehicle will be collecting the load. Especially on European work it’s often simply down to the most suitable truck once it’s “clear” then chancing your luck to get it off early - todays hasn’t worked for me & I’ve been sat around for hours 🤷‍♂️

Hi I have asked this question to Jenko. But maybe you can help. How do you get around the 90 day rule. As an O/O it does cause me some stress trying to work around the 90 day rule, and keep up with trying to have a consistent work pattern without breaking the rules. As a company driver how do you and the company get around these problem. Would much appreciate your input.

There’s no checks atm though I believe that’s going to change. Apparently the RHA are trying to sort something out though I don’t hold out much hope where they’re involved 🤦🏻‍♂️
