Nice! :) I'm really looking forward to seeing more videos with comparison of Japanese and Korean vocabulary. I find similarities between these asian languages very interesting. Maybe you could even make a video including more of them - a Japanese-Korean-Chinese episode - that would be cool! :P
@kazuekurahara7986
@kazuekurahara7986 8 лет назад
You're right, these languages definitely have interesting similarities. Japanese and Korean share almost identical grammar structures, and Japanese and Chinese share a couple of thousand Chinese characters(kanji), which led to a lot of similar-sounding vocabulary as well.

Nice. I found a lot of similarities in pronunciation between Japanese and Korean, so I wonder if that's a coincidence or it is true that the two languages are a bit parallel in pronunciation.
@Sebastian-xy3xk
@Sebastian-xy3xk 8 лет назад
What about Chinese? Didn't at one point Korea use Kanji?...
@kazuekurahara7986
@kazuekurahara7986 8 лет назад
Japanese and Korean share a lot of words that are Kanji compounds, written in Chinese characters. This has lead to similar pronunciation between the languages. (e.g. 野球 yakyuu、審判 shinpan, etc.)

After I learn Japanese perhaps I should learn Korean :3
@kazuekurahara7986
@kazuekurahara7986 8 лет назад
Grammatically, Japanese and Korean are very similar. So it may be surprisingly easier to learn one language after the other.

Do women play baseball in Japan? as girls? My mother played it here as a girl and loves the game to this day. I know women play soccer (football) in Japan and they are some of the best in the world.

Is there a Japanese equivalent of ichirui, nirui, sanrui as it pertains to dating? Sorry for going there....but I do like nirui.
