It amazes me how we put so much focus on the life of one vs. the many like all the kids in the Ukrainian hospital. It is all sad but just overall our ability to put one life above others is kind of sad.

About the 3/4 point he absolutely destroys Russian reported losses of Ukrainian equipment. Any troll that bothers you about not reporting Russian figures meerly needs be directed to that analysis. Near the end, he concludes that the attrition war probably has more running time. An important point is that the slow rate of equiping Ukraine allows Russia more time to adapt. making the Ukrainian effort harder and more costly all around. Had to skip the Gerdes section, he's probably a great guy, but his propensity to 'both sides' anything the Republicans do and post hoc rationalise the position, but to work through facts and reach conclusions vs Democrats is off-putting. He's really smooth with it and pulls everyone else in the conversation along with him. The lack of any pushback due to politeness bugs the sh*t out of me - imo he's abusing that politeness.
