Sadly, this is what the poor people of Ukraine have to go through over and over again and NOTHING gets done. They continue to commit war crimes on a daily basis and the world sits back and watches and then tells Ukraine to be careful of upsetting the ruzzians, cant strike back, they dont have enough air defence. I've done a fair bit of research into this, the only reason for this war is greed. Currently there is an estimated $20 TRILLION DOLLARS! worth of natural resources in the Ukranian heartland. Russia has a huge population and has zero problems sacrificing every single one to win, even if they have to kill them to motivate. (History proves this) 2. I worry about the Ukrainian Figures for Russian dead and wounded, wounded are returned to the front before well enough to fight and getting killed they are being counted twice as being out of the fight, this means that there are more men left in the Russian army than we think, it also alters pensioner payment etc we expect to see. Wounded men are no good to an army Russian answer to this is cannon fodder even if they have to crawl to get killed.

I don't see much dire consequences for Russia yet. Of course, all are exhausted. Russia seems to still be able to replenish their forces. They still have huge supplies of artillery. Aerial attacks are still doing massive damage. We kid about their cycle attacks, but they are somewhat effective. Meat swarms are working. If numbers are close, Russia has lost about 68000 troops since May. They are still attacking in swarms. The eastern segment is in a lot of danger. The northern attack is drawing forces away from the east. Ukraine has better troops and better equipment, but the huge numbers of Russians is doing serious damage. Without massive aid from the west and a large Ukrainian conscription, I don't see positive results for Ukraine. I hope I'm wrong.

Jonathan, I agree with your comments about who is to blame for the destruction of the children's hospital in Kiev. The side that shot the first missile that needed intercepting is to blame. But if you had a little more moral clarity, and extend that argument a little further, you'd also agree that the sides that refuse to negotiate an end to this war are equally to blame for ever death or injury. I am appalled at every death that you report, on all sides, civilian or military, in a war that cannot be won by either side. Both sides are exhausted, and both sides lack the military strength to win. Not facing this fact is what is killing people now. At some point, you have to accept what you are now facing, and not what you think is justified based on what was true a year ago.
