Seoul South Korea was like Ulaan Bataar once but the government completely turned the city around and it is now one of the largest metropolis's on Earth. Give Mongolia some time

I think many Asian countries have been through the period of hardship and later rose up from the ashes like phoenixes. I wish that Mongolians will find their ways.

There is no doubt that if given a choice many people, both in Mongolia and countries around the world would prefer a rural existence. But i think you missed the part where it is stated that countryside living in Mongolia is becoming an increasing hard existence. Super cold winters in overgrazed steppe means that the nomad and herding way of life is now super tough. Herders are losing all their livestock in a single winter. There are no other work possibilities in the steppe.

I hope they are giving people IDs more easily now. Ive never seen anything like this...

Why not the rich countries build factories for these people to work in? Tap the cheaper labor and create jobs for these people too.
