I’ve ran a business since 13. Now I’m 17, Just bought an Escalade, getting a trailer, and 0-turn in a few months. I really respect your hustle, work ethic, etc. keep it up!!
Ya glad to see someone else is into Echo as well. I have a 225i and 2330t. Don't really need anything bigger for finish work. They work great though been using the brand for over 10 years. I bought the Echo CS 310 chainsaw and HC-2020 Hedge trimmer to test them and I will say everything Echo is great.
@@CountyCorral I grease the spindles around every 30 hours. They spin fine and there’s no tension. I really believe it has something to do with the clutch
Parabéns pela iniciativa. Vejo um jovem com muita garra e vontade de superar qualquer dificuldade. Eu sou brasileiro e admiro a coragem de trabalhar e quem acredita no trabalho. Sucesso no seu empreendimento e seja feliz!
hell yeah great setup love the echo x weedeatters i cant wait for the season to start. if i didnt go exmark I would def go scag . those cheetahs are badass
I use to use feather light Craftsman Murray weed eater and Bolens weed eaters before I have bought my first Stihl fs56 RC string trimmer the push mowers I've use to use was a weed eater brand push mower then I've used an older Briggs and Stratton 3.75 engine
22 just now getting into lawning car and landscaping looking at videos of what i need to get started and your video popped up first keep it up fam 💪🏽 see you at the top
so mint man. i started mowing lawns few months ago when i turned 16 and now i own a 2022 dodge ram 1500 classic single cab long bed it gets the job done just cant wait to get a 6.7L power stroke
Excellent setup 👌 👍 👏 best wishes for your company. As a matter of fact, I'm going to get my Scag 30" asap. ( very undecided which weed wacker to get 🤔 Echo, Husqvarna, or Stihl?) Greetings from Wisconsin
your push scag, its the older model. i bought one new back in 2022 april. it has the swivel casters in the front. its my first commerical push mower. it doesnt like hills. but its really beyond strong to mulch up grass and leafs. i also have 3 toro timemasters in my fleet. my timemasters dont like to mulch and have a hard time with mulching leafs
@@stiehllandscaping9768 Well, the Cheetah is awesome, but it’s more expensive. It lives up to it name though. I’d probably get my lawn done in a 1/3 if the time. Haha
I have a 9010 been running it for 2 seasons.Has so much power it always torque twists off my shoulder and i end up wearing it on one shoulder its pretty stupid even though i love it lol.
@@Tannerbaker3331 wouldn't say that so fast, ofcourse parents might have helped but lawncare business pays well to buy new tools. I started with only small leaf blower, now got multiple weedeaters, lawnmowers, saws. So its not really impossible, its hard work
Belt eater definitely isn't great. Have you checked the pulleys for wobble, or run the belt channels for dents or other abnormalities? Or make sure it's not rubbing against anything along its path. If the engine is underpowered, maybe it needs to be checked out. Could be related to the belt issue.
I had the dealer do a detailed look over it and they couldn’t find anything. 4/5 times the belt broke was when I engaged the blades so I think the clutch may be engaging too hard
Do you like the curved shaft edger better than straight shaft and why? Ive only ran straight shaft but interested in the curved for my edger attachment. Have the 2620 PAS as well
If u could choose between the Stihl kombi 131r or the echo pas, which one would u choose? I was thinking of the Stihl and putting multiple extensions on it to trim tops of trees since I saw another RU-vidr do it. Have u ever done that?? Or how would u recommend trimming the tops of trees? Thanks!!!
Honestly both are great. It comes down to what your dealer sells. You can't go wrong either way. I've personally never used and extension but it would handle that no problem.
@@stiehllandscaping9768 this other RU-vidr landscaper puts on multiple extensions (like 2-3) and trims trees 25 ft+ and profits A LOT from it. He says it voids the Stihl warranty, but he says it’s worth it because IF the powerhead dies, he still profits a lot from it. He says not a lot of landscapers in his area do trees that high, so he gets a lot of clients that way since customers like their trees small
@@stiehllandscaping9768 They also have the business version of the EGO products , I enjoy them alot . The first few years i would not had recommended them but now since the batteries have gone up to 12ah they last alot longer.
Use family and friends to help you spread the word. When I started my business I lived in and HOA. My customers shared my business in the HOA pages and Facebook groups which really helped. Word of mouth and networking is key.
I see you have a Darwin handle that is broken I had one broken in the same place they redesigned those made them more heavy-duty I contacted them they sent me one free of charge something to look into
@@stiehllandscaping9768 could you elaborate though. You’ve got 30-60k in equipment there not even including the truck. I’m just curious how an 18 year old was able to acquire all of that so quickly in life. Did you not have any help from parents? No shame if you did.
@@levichoward6795 I been at this since was 14. I reinvest into equipment that makes me more efficient. I’m on marketplace a lot and look for deals. Vride was bought brand new. But the other mowers were bought on marketplace. (All in cash) I bought the truck when I was 17 so of course my parents had to help me co-sign. When I turned 18 the loan was completely transferred to me. Co-sighing was the main thing my parents helped me with but that was just due to my age so everything else was gotten on my own.
Just curious, How does an 18 year old afford a $50,000 truck and $20,000 worth of equipment? You can't mow that many lawns after you get out of school???
I buy everything in cash so I had no debt for one thing. I had enough saved up to put a decent down payment on it as well. The payments made sense and were easily affordable with it being the only thing I have debt on. Of course my parents had to cosign since I bought it when I was 17. When I turned 18, they transferred the loan completely in my name but they did not put a dime into the truck.
I agree. Been to the dealer twice but they can’t find anything, they’ve covered 2 of the belts under warranty so even my dealer knows something ain’t right
