I ordered the same barrel. How do you like it?

@@shaneott2874 Super accurate, have gotten a few sub 1/2 moa groups out of it and have had it out to 1,300 yards. Plan on hitting a mile this year when I can get back out to the range. Have prob put about 250 to 300 rds through it so far.

I went 18” on mine and I love it. I still need to dial in what ammo it likes. You can obviously squeeze out more velocity with a 20” or 22” barrel but I wanted more balance.

@@faithkillsfear yeah that's what I was thinking originally as well. I ended up ordering the 18 inch. It will also be a more rigid barrel being a touch shorter which will help with accuracy.

I think I was approaching 4K on this one 😂

I plan to shoot another video with shooting results. The day I filmed this I was getting the gas dialed in and the scope sighted in so I didn’t have a camera down at the targets.

It is really a pleasure to shoot. I was getting about 1” groups at 100 yards and I know this set up is capable of better once I find the load it likes best. A 13.7” 6arc build sounds spicy and interesting! I thought I was going a bit too short at 18” hahaha. I really like the BSF barrels. I have a 22” in 6.5cm and it’s an absolute tack driver.

@@faithkillsfear Depending on what your end goal is for the 6ARC will determine the desired barrel length . For me 600 yards is all I really shoot . I do not need 18" - 22" for good hits at this distance . Also I rarely shoot deer or hoggs past 100 yards. If I was shooting past 600 yards then I would want 18" - 22" so i could get the full potential of the cartridge . 22" is what PRS guys is optimal for 6ARC Gas Gun to competitive out past 1000m . You should be getting 2600 FPS or close to it once your barrel is completely broken in . If you do get 2600 FPS then you will hit that Trans - Sonic point at 950ish yards. Usually you want you end goal target to be at 1340 FPS or higher . Once it hits that Trans-Sonic Point it can still be very predictable. Once it stops moving super sonic that's when it starts acting wonky. With 2600 FPS using Black 105g BTHP you should be super sonic to 1100 yards . My 13.7" I'm getting 2480 FPS and my 16" in getting 2540 FPS with Black 105g BTHP. I honestly dont even shoot Match 108g ELDM. My barrels are TUNED for 100g - 105g because I went with 1in8 Twist barrels . I have buddy who has 1in7 Twist and his barrel loves the 110g A-TIP.

@@seanwhite304 this is fantastic information. Thank you. I’m in the market for a Chronograph so I can dial it in. I would love to stretch this out to 1000 but the 1000 yard range is almost 3 hours away.

@@faithkillsfear That's why my end goal is 600 yards because that's all I have access too . Magnetospeed V3 is pretty legit Chrono for Carbines and Rifles . Caldwell G2 Ballistic Chrono is another good one for pistols and long guns . If I was just using Carbines and Rifles the Magnedospeed would be my first choice

@@faithkillsfear You will for sure need Chrono to get an accurate DOPE( Data On Previous Engagements ) on your 6ARC.. Heck good ole pen or pencil and paper will also work for collecting DOPE . You'll just have to shoot more bullets to figure it out . Once you get your DOPE they do made range finders where you can punch in all that Info and it will store the DOPE for you . Theres so many cool Apps that log all of the info needed to be effective at longer ranges . Knowing your actual velocity is all you really need to get MIL or MOA holds at distance . Obviously you'll still need to confirm . Temperature is also good thing to write down because 90° and 30° you'll get slightly diffrent result . Wind is the absolute hardest to call . Dont over think it . 6ARC has roughly the same External Ballistics as 308 . So you can use 308 cheat sheet for wind u tilt you get your DOPE figured out

😂I fully expected this. Although I paid $545 for mine. Still doesn’t quite match this caliber of a build but I am actually pretty impressed by the quality vs price even though it weighs as much as a boat anchor lol

@@faithkillsfear that’s the scope I have on my 6 ARC build. However, my build isn’t quite the quality of yours. Lol. It’s only a 18” Odin bbl on a BCM upper. It’s an excellent scope for the price. Love the reticle, too.

Groups are what it comes down to. You can be pretty sure when they don't show the groups it sprays bullets like a shotgun.😊

I wouldn’t knock it till you try it. It was my first experience with Arken. I’ve typically gone with Vortex but most of theirs are also made in China. In fact most optics are made in China or Japan. I’ve been happy with it so far, besides the weight. It’s heavy. I’ve considered going with something lighter weight and I might still. But all of this was expensive and even that Arken was over $500. I didn’t get anything for free, Or even discounted. So while I would have loved to drop $2k plus on a scope, it would’ve pushed this build past $5k.
