yeah in chime i was fighting a guy and i kept hitting only when he was feinting, but parried all his normal swings. i eventually won. he was probably punching the air after that one
very indepth video, man never fails to deliver! usually when my friends ask how to combo I just say "pretend you will land everything" so it's nice having a indepth video explaining basic and advanced combat mechanics. Thank you once again Spider!
This is a really good suggestion, I usually run thunder or gale so I’m not that good at movement. I use teleport moves or dash moves like static fakeout or gale lunge to help
the best tip i can give is stand still focus on parrying if you’re opponent is attacking and being aggressive try to just keep looking at his in all times and try to counter his attack and get a uppercut off
Spiders I want to say that with your tips and 86 hours I've finally hit top 2000 in chime. No matter what setbacks like my gf breaking up with me and my gamer bucket filling up, I want to thank you for giving me these really important tips I wouldn't of done it without you❤
in eu everybody does the m1 mantra feint m1 combo, its not really hard to pull off its just muscle memory and experience. in some instances you are guaranteed to land an m1 without the opponent parrying it, like if you cancel their m1.
yeah honestly I started making a lot of new builds so I kinda got behind on that, but I’m working on a new main and ima make sure everything is perfect once I’m done with it
5:48 So you are saying once I am defensive, at the best possible chance I have to not lose a bar against someone who is also self aware and capable of semi-intelligent thought, is a 50-50 guess in some cases
Since combos are harder with (most) heavy weapons as they can't quite capitalize on hit stun, is there anything that can be done to remedy this other than using fast heavy weapons like iron birch, Canor axe or lots of mantra dependace?
you can’t really avoid all of those issues. The solution id say is to use lots of quick mantras for hitstun and maybe uppercuts as well, but this is a really big weakness of heavy compared to light and med
Hey, does your meta gale breath build guide still hold up after 4 months? I really like gale and was looking to make or find a build and was just wondering if that video was outdated.
the parts where I talk about gale itself and the dual attunements are still accurate, but where I talk about the normal attributes like strength, agil etc some stuff has changed since then so you could listen to that too but don’t follow it strictly or anything by any means
Play the game more and with experience you’ll be more comfortable thinking while fighting. When I was first starting this was hard for me too, but it’ll get easier naturally
"really complex and difficult to do" what i see: m1 softfeint into mantrafeint then swing into rising wind 🤷 when i try it: what the fuck my hands they dont work WHAT THE FUCK
Too all my freshie who can't do these combos yet, remember these wise words "You may be build carried, but thats the best way to be carried. You have room to grow"
