Where has this instruction been all my life?! Eric you are THE man. I found you because Dr. Mike critiqued one of your workouts and gave you the highest rating of anyone I’ve ever seen him do, so I had to check you out. I just did this leg workout- wow. I’m 42 and I’ve always had trouble squatting and getting legs to grow due to back problems. This workout SMOKED my quads with zero pain. I’ve never felt a bigger pump! I always believed the “90 degrees at full squat” idea. I’m pretty sure this was the missing piece- FULL STRETCH and pause. I’d love to refer your videos to some younger friends but the language is a little sketch still haha! Keep the amazing advice up my friend!

He keeps the back angle quite high and the feet quite high too. These factors make the position look deeper than it is in terms of actual quad stretch, while actually making the exercise less purely quaddy, shifting more of the burden onto other muscles. Don't get me wrong it's unbelievably impressive but these factors should be kept in mind in terms of how dramatic it looks.

I been doing leg press like you teach since I saw you with Greg. My wife watches and can't believe I go that deep. My whole lower lumbar is locked with titanium and I feel no pressure there at all because I do them exactly like you teach. If something was wrong with the movement I'd feel it immediately but I only feel it in my legs. I even got her doing them now though she's still a little afraid to go that deep but she's going waaayy deeper than she ever did on that pinned leg press machine. I still like the pinned leg press machine. It's great for calves

Like everyone else is commenting, you are the best Trainer on RU-vid rn for sure. I watch your videos and how you use a lot of equipment to dynamically stretch I have so much less tweaks or discomfort in my workouts. Those burn-out reps are absolute dynamite, you have made my workouts so much more effective it's rediculous. Ppl are often watching me in the gym now because I utilize your expertise, tempo, constant tension, burnout, dropsets, my pumps are thanks to you sir!!

Thanks Eric my legs were shaking after this workout and surprised of how light weight=less wear of the joint great for longevity. Just Like jay cutler recommends it

Ok, now I am ready for Leg day tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration and extra motivation. I just wished the Leg Press in my Gym would go as deep as in this Video.

When you're really advanced, in terms of your training/rest/diet/pharmacology, you could do this like once every 4-5 days

People who have a lower back problem or an herniated disk, never go this low when aquatting. Also, better off doing leg press with one leg at a time.
