I love it! Honestly thought that he would be cool if he played as a Marvel version of Captain Commando, calling in the Guardians for an assist, but still use his element guns as intended. But I really like this.
I can imagine star-lord working similar to Leonardo in Injustice 2. Where he can call his teammates who are like his kameo fighters. And the element guns are sweet.
Cole could definitely happen since he most uses electric-like abilities. But Alex would be more challenging with his animations and all the crazy stuff he can do.
@@korpsmaninfantry7238 I’m pretty sure the only evidence we actually have is dialogue with Carol mentioning him. The other pieces of evidence we have for characters who were planned for later were Ms. Marvel (see the naming of Captain Marvel’s “Warbird” alt, a name that hasn’t been used in years in games) & Lady (Dante losing all his Kalina Ann moves). The six planned characters for S2 who were leaked were Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Asura, Rashid, Lady, & Gill.

Something about this version of Starlord reminds me of a time when Marvel Vs Capcom felt like it's own thing. Like this doesn't feel like MvCI where it's trying to emulate the MCU to a T. This feels like what the Marvel vs Capcom version of Starlord would be. Wonderful job.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 needs to make a comeback, of which this mods should be part of the actual. I don't care if they would be DLC, I'd pay for it, so long as the payment goes to the modders so I can show them my support.
I know it would be a hard thing to do, as not much has been written about their powers, but I, a proud trans woman, would love to see another Marvel representative. As I am writing this it is pride month 2024, so of course my picks for a Marvel representative are either Escapade, Morgan Red and Hibbert or one of the members of Super Trans: D-Man, Pity Girl, Aphelion, Good Arson, Harmonize, Bad Guy and Faceshopper.
I'm aware. He uses custom animation for his intro, outro, firing poses on his normal shots, taunt, and idle. Also keep in mind that Star Lord was in development long before custom animation was possible and had his normals finished by the time they were added. I didn't want to delay him even further to change their animations and have to adjust frame data and hitboxes to fit them.
Super happy to see one of my favourite marvel character. I hope you can put him some flight move, and assist move like captain comando. He is a captain of the guardians. But all in all thank you so much.
