Thanks for the video. The black drain tube at 5:54 came out of my machine when I was draining it to clean the filter. Is it possible to access it so that I can clamp it back on without having to take off the entire front cover, such as taking off the bottom panel of the washing machine?

Realized i didn’t need to remove the bottom to get to what's accessible by just renoving the front panel. Ty

I have same washer, just started shaking worse in last 6 months. Seems front shocks are loose for a short distance of movement and then stiffen up. Rear ones seem fine. Need to check yoke on drum I guess, mine does that banging noise and the machine walks out of place. Shakes horribly even with nothing in it and spinning. Considering shocks and door boot since it is torn around the edge but if the yoke is broke that could be what wore out the shocks. I have it apart now, after 12 years thats about $50 per year to purchase and however many loads were done in that time.

If you get a new spyder and have it professionally coated in a special epoxy, it should defeat their planned obsolescence, at least for a lot longer. That is what I did. It cost about $125 to coat but only b/c that is thier min. price to do a job, I could of added some lawn chairs and other stuff too for that price. This guy did or does military contracts to coat inside of tanks, etc, he really knew his stuff! This will be an interesting experiment!
