Wish they would have given a 3 round/full auto option to the TMC to compete with an Alpha black with E-trigger. Also for an "Ultimate" woodsball package I'd go with a remote line with quick disconnect. Most importantly COMS, headset/ear piece to walkie for tactical squad play.

TMC is a good marker, but the Tacamo Vortex is just as good a a lot more customizable for the same price.

a good suggestion for a yt vid: Proto rize maxxed vs. Empire Axe. They are around the same price and both seem very easy to use, reliable and good

How many shots can you take with the baby tank?? When I played woods back in the day packin a tippmann procarbine, with air, with a stainless steel lapco bigshot barrel, so freaking heavy had to camo tape it cuz chrome. But I never carried ammo as I only shoot when knew I was going to hit something.. Also used marbalizer paint so incentive to not waste and the marker slowed my fire rate down so it was worth it. But I always wanted a smaller tank because I had a scuba tank I filled off of when needed but I always wanted a baby tank to lighten the load.

For magfed, the Tacamo vortex Pro might be a better choice. A5 internals, a5 threads, air in stock (that isn't a mile long), FSR ready, and you can get the Lok bolt upgrade, which is an amazing anti chop system

All the Tacamo markers use tippmann internals and they have four models that are between $150 and $180 for the basic setup and go up from there depending on chosen options. I have a ThunderBolt (Tippmann 98) and a Hurricane (X-7 Phenom), The Hurricane Cost a bit more than the other four. All are First Strike ready.

The Hurricane with lok bolt and polished internals is one of my favorite markers. It's a much better marker than the T15/468 imo

Haven't had an opportunity to try a 468 yet, I think I'm going to get one next year. I just recently got the Hurricane, was up in the air about which to get the 468 or Hurricane. I was watching MCS Weekly and both KT and MCS Red (Jonathan) said they prefer the Hurricane for playing but they favored the 468 for target practice.

I disagree with the remote line unless your running co2 in colder weather. It can get caught on twigs, shrubs, trees and is very annoying to deal with. A lot of woods ball guns are meant to have the tank on it for balancing purposes.

I've only been playing since August of 2018 and have speedball pads and mask but a Tippmann Cronus because I prefer woodsball, but im not sure if I should upgrade to a Emek or a TMC, any thoughts?

Personally my gun is setup to look and feel like an heavier ar-15 and I love the feel of it. Most games(at least at my field ag paintball) start 10-20 minutes after the last game so your arms are ready for the next game if weight is an issue

GoG G1-M is a much better marker if you don't care about magfed. The G1-m is cheaper, quieter, smoother, more consistent, regulated, lighter, and it can shoot any high end tourney paint

No. Unless you customize it to do it. Might as well get t15 or go to mcs or milsig

grab the mag while releasing the mag release, dump mag in mag drop pouch, grab new mag from chest rig or whatever you wear and slap that new mag in on the way up.

@@thrown100 My point was there is no mag release on the left side. I'm left handed so left index finger doesn't have a mag release button.

@@thrown100 Ah gotcha. I ended up getting really lucky and winning a marker in a raffle. It has ambidextrous release though the buttons are kinda small. Might upgrade those.

Hoppers are kind of bulky and can stick out enough to be hit more easily. With mag fed the focus is more on precision than just amount of paint you can throw. Also if you want to use first strikes then you need mags.

I have one and works great, never had a issue. Also it's the cheapest magfed gun and will never not work unlike other high end magfed markers which have been know to break. Plus 25$ for 2 mags is great

Tacamo are less expensive for basic marker, have a massive amount of upgrades (most take AR-15 stocks and handguards), and if you buy 10 mags with the gun there only $10 each, buy 10 mags separate from gun and they are $15 each

The Milsig M17A2 is now the same price as a TMC. If you want air in stock with the TMC, that'll be another $60. The M17 has air in stock, full auto, a regulator and FSR capability right out of the box.

No I'd say the worst magfed gun is a Tippmann 98 with the Tippmann magfed adapter.
