Press up against a wall, start a slam and jump off before hitting the ground That way you store a slam, so when you hit the ground, you can crouch jump to go flying horizontally, or just jump regularly to get sent into the stratosphere

I use ultraboost (throw a core eject from the blue shotgun, then use the malicious rail to give u a MASSIVE boost)

I find slide jumping to be more preferable

@@gronglus25 My original comment on this was over a year ago , but building up enough speed with slide-jumps alone for this particular sphere is difficult to do with the space available right in this spot unless you're practiced with slide jumps and start a bit further away to build speed or unless you first launch into it with a momentum slide. It can also be done if you know how to do a slam-storage jump, a slam-storage slide jump or if you can Super Slide Jump, but they can be somewhat difficult to reliably do without knowledge of the techniques and some practice. For the typical player a dash-jump is going to be the easiest maneuver for them to quickly learn and get a handle on in order to access that sphere.

Some a caught are Heart of the Sunrise is a song by Yes, Clair de Lune is a piano piece by Debussy, In the Wake of Poseidon is a King Crimson album, and God Damn the Sun is a song by Yes. Slaves to Power is probably a reference to the album Powerslave, as the album cover has ancient Egyptian theme. Also the first 'world' is called Prelude and the first level is Overture.

you can use malicious railcannon on the first panel in the building from the outside. saves like 5 to 10 seconds.

on the spiral staircase you can rocket ride to the end and you can basically rocket ride through most of this level
