at 1:11 you can go to the left corner at the start, put down a freezeframe rocket, get on it, and it will get you out of the map. then just rocket ride or dash to the checkpoint and you can get to the diseased bovine much faster

How was the first one secret (new to the game) i havent seen that way yet but it just seems more like to a secret way TO the boss more then a secret boss, or does it give you a new codex enemy entry for him?
Well, you're not meant to fight that boss in that level, the normal swordmachine is in 0-3, and that's 0-2. Plus the game considers it a secret encounter, as outlined by the challenge of the level
