Most underatted, unappreciated band of the 80's. I preferred Rage but this has stood the test of time. Great album, the artwork is excellent. Hymn and Mine for Life are epic. Visions in Blue had *that* video.

Wow, one of my all time favourite albums, keep up the amazing work gents. Always thought Hymn should have been the first single to be released may have given the guys another top 10 hit. Very jealous Mark, that you got to meet the band at the gig.

Awesome video as usual. I enjoy watching these 40th anniversary videos. It is amazing how basically you have mentioned all of my favourite 1982 albums from Simple Minds,DM,ABC,Talk Talk,Blancmange, Visage and now Quartet. The only one yet missing from my top 10 1982 would be Berlin s Pleasure Victim. Thanks a lot Andy and Mark!

Great video, and one of the best albums in my humble opinion. Two amazing songs in Serenade and Visions in Blue. I'd say possibly the most accessible album from Ultravox, but there's nothing wrong with that

Ultravox what a fantastic band, one of my many favourites, loved Vienna one of the few songs that i can play on the keyboard without a mistake, but i' am getting there be lucky.

A massive Ultravox fan here. Thanks for the overview. Although there are some cracking songs on here it's not my favourite album. That's 'Rage In Eden'. Still, for me, it's better than the next album 'Lament'. I just think George Martin's production is just a little too slick compared to Conny Plank's. Nevertheless the album spawned four top twenty singles and there are plenty of other decent tracks. 'Serenade' was considered as a single at one point as well with a single edit and an extended version made.

Great vid guys. Quartet was a bit of a strange one for me as though George Martin was a great producer this album was a bit too polished and smooth for my taste and though great songs like Hymn and Cut and Run were om it i thought Lament was a much more raw album. Keep up the good work gentlemen.
