That's what I am wondering. Why these type rc engines aren't used in ultralights. To powerful maybe. But I have seen tiny little turboprops that would be sick.
For a small radial engine it's got a good amount of hp. I wonder if you could stick multiple engines together (like 10 radials slapped all together in one long cylinder)
the walbro carb has its own internal fuel pump...shoud NOT be running an external fuel pump on a carb like that.....you WILL damage the pump valves inside the carb in doing so and constantly flood the carb/engine
@@thomasmaxam8771 mate, ive worked on these carbs professionally for the last 30 odd years, i know how they work VERY intimately....and ive seen just about every failure there is, go back and read my post again...
I’m tossing up between Moki 7 cylinders (either the 250 or 350) for a 1/4 scale Beaufighter, the big issue will be weight, but the sound will make it fly like a hummingbird full of helium 😂
Only 13 hp ??? How much does it weigh? I would have thought that for something that size & displacement, it would be putting out twice the horsepower. Google search says it's 15.6 hp and 6.7 kg -- but anyway, I would love something with twice that horsepower and weight.
