Kudos to the owners and operators for keeping the engine as clean as possible in a dusty environment. I also like that there is no whistle on the exhaust pipe adding to noise pollution!
Workplace is very clean and tidy. They know what they're doing and you can see they respect their machines very much. Its been looked after for many decades and no scratches on the paint work.
What a great video, the condition of the engine, the way multiple machines run off just one power source. before the advent of electricity this was an everyday activity, long may it continue.
old things much better than the new crap no being made ,new shit dies after two yrs old stuff just keeps going my 1980toyota truck still going strong thanks
Great skill displayed but can’t understand the lack of even basic guards on rotating equipment that would kill. They have the ability and you only need your make them once. Just baffling
WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS 🤔❓️ COLD WEATHER START UP IF ☝️ IT WERE COLD WOULDN'T THEY HAVE WARM CLOTHES ON INSTEAD OF JUST PAJAMAS HELL THA GUY'S GOT HIS SAFTY SANDLES ON IN ANY CASE
Why not just use the electric motor? it even has a vfd... It will have power for the task for sure, the only reason i see is the price of electricity vs fuel (free used oil?)
@@tiagoferreira086You ask "Why not just use the electric motor?" I give you a answer that the motor is "free" and then you say its already there.... yes that was my point then I did say "free"
@@kirgan1000 I was talking about the eletric one, and i assume that you are talking about the diesel. The only other reason i see is if they run all mills at full load, maybe the eletric can overheat, but nonetheless is still a nice powerful motor, but weaker than the diesel.
Probably cost of electricity vs whatever used oil fuel they're running in the engine. Those old diesels can run on literally anything even remotely combustible.
