Thanks Jimmy I’m a different type of lawyer (due to my area of practice) but I still loved this! My grandpa used to send me clippings from the newspaper. I still remember one that read, “99% of lawyers give the other 1% a bad reputation.” 😏😂 Edited to add that this video came up my on LinkedIn feed after someone I know “liked” it.
I had to be on a jury many years ago. The week-long court case was *tediously* boring, nothing like TV at all…except for the time when the defendant stupidly decided to testify in his own defence and the prosecutor ripped him to shreds (and it actually was a fair bit like the TV, except the defendant wasn’t clever in anyway he was just an idiot and the prosecutor ate him for breakfast…he was clearly guilty as sin though which made it very entertaining). I think that’s probably got to be the most fun thing about being a lawyer…maybe it even made the 5 hours of paperwork afterwards worth it, haha.
Where's the ex lawyers who just went and worked in the public service cos themed lunches and dealing with sociology grads is just easier to be the smartest in the room.
Me. 10 years a lawyer then 20 in the public service. It involved more complex law than anything I did as a lawyer but so much less stress and best of all........ no other lawyers to deal with.
I've only had to use a lawyer once, over several months, but it bought me the most important saying known to a winning side, that is, " so you're planning to breach the order are you ? ", it's amazing how much bullshit that knocks out of a smart ass ex, even if I did put one of the lawyers kids through private school, still worth it.
Well….this just made my current semester in law school more interesting 😅. While this video might be making me question my life choices, I always enjoy your videos and this one was pretty funny.
Hey Jimmy Rees, I use to watch giggle and hoot ALL the time when I was younger, and just couldn’t believe how special the show was to me. I only know you as Jimmy Giggle and a great person. 🤨
As someone who worked for a very high ranking international law-firm as a IT Contractor, I concur with suits and paperwork, they have the entire office filed with them.
Any chance we can get some delicious State vs State commentary now that the mainland is red and Tassie is still blue? There has to be something in there @JimmyReesComedy
Wow I always knew if you put a man in a suit his attractiveness increases but dang, I don't like how lascivious this is making me feel for a married family man!
I just listen. The camera movement triggers my vertigo. Very few RU-vidrs consider visual and neurological disabilities. At best you get a RU-vidr that considers captions for people with hearing impairment and tone indicators for neuro diverse. He is very funny though.
