#ozempic #ozempicsideeffect #pcos Hospital Bizness goes over Ozempic side effects and how to minimize them. Ozempic is a once weekly injectable medication used for diabetes and it has shown weight loss in clinical trials.
Stumbled across your post, this is great. It dscribes what is happening to me and is such a great releaf. My gut is staerting to settle down after some 2 months. The VA did not advise me very well on side effects. Or else I diden't listen well. Anyway I am doing better and loosing a little weight. I will work on diet some more and see how things go, Thanks a lot Bless you.
Thank for acknowledging that nausea and related side effects are not just "mild" for everyone. I am hoping to start Ozempic after meeting with my doctor on Wednesday after having serious nausea issues that effected my daily life while on Mounjaro (the worst came after two weeks on the 5mg dosage). Hoping I can handle Ozempic better!
What a great video. I am starting the medication today for type 2 diabetes. I am Insulin resistant. I have been nervous about starting it. Your video is THE ONLY ONE that answered ALL of concerns.
I'm going on 4 months with the weekly shots of Ozempic. 1st month = Extreme nausea the first week with intermittent Nausea the remaining weeks. 2nd month = No nausea but occasional stomach pains, especially at night. The pains were so sharp it would wake me from a dead sleep. Each time I would get out of bed sit on the commode and do breathing exercises, which helped. 3rd month = Occasional light Nausea but would subside with soda water and saltiness. Extreme fatigue...9 to 10 hours of sleep per night and I'm still tired after all this sleep. 4th month = Lots of gas, bloating, anxiety, depression, constant stomach pangs, many trips to the bathroom not diarrhea just a lot of pooping. Sometimes 4xs per hour. The depression and stomach pangs are most concerning. Still fatigue. Total weight loss 15 pounds, A1c went from 8.6 to 7.1 I'm going to continue to power through 25 pounds to my weight goal.
I'm suffering from terrible depression too, on 0.25 mg. Tearful, fretful, bursting into tears for no reason....I've had to come off Ozempic which I'm bitterly disappointed about, it was really helping with my now lifelong weight problem.
Bro how is that worth it?? Isn’t changing diet just better? Like my wife is going through similar shot and I can’t understand why this is an option or even legal
Hi, just stumbled across your channel. Very informative. My Dr. prescribed me the ozempic going from .25 to 1 after one month. I had the burping issue that was awful. It has been 3 months now and I don't seem to have anymore side affects and my blood sugar stays around the 90's now. (it used to be in the 200's). Anyway, I just subcribed and I enjoyed watching.
Your videos are fantastic. I really love your presentation! 🙏🏻♥️. I like your honest and very direct talk about this particular drug and respecting everybody’s different opinions on it please keep up the great work making your videos.🤩
Luv your info on this drug. I haven’t heard anyone talk about Colitis while on this particular drug. I was on Saxenda for a month or two and didn’t have a bowl movement for a week and developed a severe Colitis attack and was in the hospital for 5 days! It was the worst sickness I’ve ever had. I quit taking the medication for several months and tried it again. A little less than a year later I had another attack that put me in the hospital for 2 days. Stopped it altogether. Just started on Ozempic 5 or 6 weeks ago and had a very minor attack this last Saturday. I have added Milk of Magnesia to my diet if I go 24 hrs without a bowl movement. I’m on the constipated side anyway because of all the meds I take anyway for blood pressure, cholesterol, and so on. I’m only 56 but I know all those meds can cause constipation on their own. I would just want to tell people to really watch if you go longer than 48 hrs without a bowl movement. Thank You for your important information on this subject! ❤
thank you for the Information about Ozempic injection. I am diabetic type 2. I started taking ozempic today monday the 3/10 , immediately i experienced constipation after the injection, I think that's kind of weird :) My doctor ordinated Ozempic to enable to reach the goal of weight that I intend to have. currently i weigh 82kg. and I 'm looking forward for a better result to treat my obesity. I take note of your advice online, since it is my first time to use the injection after several years of uncontrolled blood sugar & weight. I look forward more of your video infos. God Bless.
I forgot to add that I have lost weight just being on it for a month, 20lbs do far. I can’t eat that much 2-3 bites of anything. I have had diarrhea occasionally and that’s it. That’s wonderful. Here’s to my next month
I had bad side effects but realized too late I eat all the wrong food. Now that I got more information and your tips on how to battle side effects I am going to try again. Hopefully I can handle it this time🤞🏻
I started this 5 weeks ago and noticed I was becoming constipated, nauseous, abdominal pain, fatigue, belching was awful. I took my first dose of 0.5mg, which was an increase from 0.25mg Sunday, July 3rd and started feeling worse. All the cardinal noted side effects. I hate it and definitely not worth feeling like crap. I’ll lose weight like I did before, eat right and exercise! Good luck y’all!
My endo started me at 1mg a week. No low and slow. She offered to lower it when I complained at mt 2nd appt~~3 MONTHS IN. No warnings at all; I had to dig in the internet to get any info at all.
Many many thanks! I've been taking Ozemic for weight loss (not diabetes) since December but only lost 25 lbs. Disappointed! But, I am continuing and I am now injecting it myself and today for the first time with your help! I kept going to the weight loss clinic bothering everyone... Somehow I feel that your video was more helpful to make me more secure! Thank you! But... I really thiought I woiuld lose more by now but I'll continue for 3 more months,. My dose is now 1 and will increase to 2 in a month. I would love to join your website. Many thanks for your clarification and clarity. Naomi Jones NYC
Hi and thanks your recommendations are very helpful. I just started ozempic yesterday and it was too much for me. I have vomited like 5 times but the worst is this pounding headache feels like migraine but when I took Tylenol I vomited right away. I will contact my doctor today but in any of the videos that I have seen mention the headache. Any suggestions? Thanks. Susana
Crazy to say, but do not eat any carbs, or dairy they made me really ill too. Try protein like eggs and vegetables, small portions only. I am on week 4 and still have side effects but nowhere near as bad. 8lbs down.
Appreciate your video, me and O are on a hate love relationship. 5 months now lost 30lbs Im type 2 and heart issues. I do get the gas and diarrhea mostly it happens at night and keeps me up. I was at the point of stopping , however I battled on and you are correct it comes down to diet for me and eating less at dinner ( evening) time I have had to take some imodium at times and then don't eat or eat crackers or a sandwich for the rest of the day and then it goes back to normal. It is a love hate relationship though
I was just placed on Ozempic after a DX: of type two diabetes, it took me two weeks to get the medicine due to shortages. However, after picking up the medicine today, I’m very hesitant to start due to the brutal side effects. I keep reading about them because I went through so much when I was on injectables for multiple sclerosis I ended up stopping those and just treating the symptoms and I really just don’t want to go down that rabbit hole again. One thing I cannot deal with is nausea and after reading everything about this I don’t even know if it’s worth it for me to try it however, I have to get this type two diabetes under control. When I was a prediabetic I was having metForman but after a few months it really did a number on my stomach so I was taking off that medication and then suddenly my glucose readings went through the roof and my doctor prescribed Ozempic. I can’t believe they can’t come up with something that doesn’t have his horrible side effects. My primary doctor did make sure that I have plenty of nausea medicine and stomach medicine on the word to deal with side effects but I already deal with feeling so sick with MS. I don’t know if I really want to do this at this point. I was told that somewhere around 80% of patients don’t even have symptoms but I have yet to hear if someone that hasn’t. Any thoughts? It has been a tough few years for me. I had a wonderful career as a flight nurse that all went away after a diagnosis of secondary progressive MS. I could no longer remember simple things and now I just tried to take one day at a time and do the best I can. However, now I have to overcome yet another diagnosis of Diabetes T2. The medication for MS did nothing for me at never slow down the progression my MRIs just kept getting worse. Are there truly people that don’t have side effects? This is such a concern for me as I don’t want to feel sicker than I already do. The only medication I use now is to treat the symptoms of MS as they come and go The only daily medication I take, is carvedilol for tachycardia which seems to be related to CNS due to MS Thank you for any words of advice you can provide.
I would have to agree that I hear way more often that side effects are present versus not. Consider speaking to your personal provider about the following: 1. Consider your injection sites - some people experience less side effects when injected in the thigh or arm due to slower absorption rates 2. Discuss the option of Mounjaro versus Ozempic - Mounjaro tends to have less side effects in my experience. As always, this is not medical advice but simply ideas you can talk with your personal provider about. Keep me up to date!
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I’m definitely going to talk to my endocrinologist in the morning I sincerely appreciate your response. ♥️
😢😢😢 I'm about to start this medicine and am very afraid...I worry about my hypo thyroid and the effects this might have on me...I usually suffer from side-effects and refuse to take many medications that have giving me problems...the stress caused by fear just makes diabetes worse
Well, I took the leap and took the injection last night and I ended up in the emergency room with a bad reaction now I’m not trying to scare you, but I’m just saying if you don’t want to take it don’t and talk to your doctor as soon as possible. Doctors don’t know everything they are human beings, and sometimes they get along but if your gut feeling tells you not to do it if you’ve had a bad reaction with medication before don’t be pressured into taking something you don’t want to do but definitely call your provider and talk to them about other options as there are many. I really thought hard about taking this thing and I’m really sorry I gave in because I’m sure paying for it and that was just one injection, I was already getting my numbers down on my own but they insisted I get on medication but now I’ve completely decided to refuse any medication for type two diabetes. I know that I can turn it around. I have willpower and everything I need to do this I just think that the hype about this drug being so great is not so great and that came directly from the ER doctor that treated me , they were great to me in the ER. I can’t believe that some thing that sounds so promising can create such havoc for everyone but that’s exactly what I went through with medication for MS and they took me off all of it now the only thing I do for MSs control of the pain and whatever a little symptoms come up with PRN medication. I know this medication works for some people but it’s definitely not one size fits all by any means and actually a lot more people have trouble with it then they report that’s what the ER told me. I wish you well. ♥️🙏🏻
Thank you for this, I’m borderline type II and have heart disease, took my first injection tonight after building up my courage. It was fine, but after watching your video we are preparing for war 😊
It is weird but when I was on the .25 mg 1x week the side effect was nausea and now that I have moved up to the .50mg x 1 week dose I have abdominal pains. The nausea did settle down after the first couple of weeks on that dose so I am hopeful that the abdominal pains will do the same. I have just taken my second .50mg dose. I will persevere as I see benefits with this drug for me still. I have to say though the nausea was easier to deal with than these awful abdominal pains.
Make sure you take something with pre/probiotics for healthy gut health. Ozempec makes everything move slower. So eat foods high in enzymes and fiber and keep your bowls moving!
My Dr started me on .25 for 8 weeks for pre diabetes and to help with my cholesterol. I’ll be taking the second shot on Monday and so far I’ve just been having headaches and upset stomach/cramping and lack of appetite
@@theresadavis-bowling2808 I’m on .5 now and go in in a week to see if I can up the dose, for about 4 months I had headaches from it but they started calming down around a month ago and now I only get them every once in a while. I never got nauseated and I never threw up, but the headaches were really bad at first. My pre diabetes and my cholesterol have really improved and I’ve lost about 70 pounds, I now eat healthier and don’t drink sodas or eat sugary or greasy stuff. I’ve recently started counting my calories and fasting too. It’s definitely helped my health more than I thought it would.
@@countrysidecoffins2925 thank you so much for sharing your story it’s really inspiring. I was doing keto before and lost 20 pounds but my cholesterol went up and my blood sugar where everywhere. I’m going to keep going and push through. Thank you again!
@@theresadavis-bowling2808 no problem at all! I wanted to try keto but my Dr said not to because of the cholesterol issue. He said it’s only healthy for a limited time and if you have cholesterol issues it does more harm than good.
I hope someone will respond, I started Ozempic for weight lost about 3 weeks ago, the only side effect I suffered was the first day when I injected, I had on single headache that went aways with OTC medication, I was nauseous but also went away, haven't had any more symptoms since then and every injection was find, however, I now have developed hives around my face, mainly around mouth/nose/forehead that it is itching/burning, should I stop Ozempic because of an allergic reaction even if is mild? this medication was working great for me but, I don't want to risk it. Please help????
I have been taking ozempic for 2 months and about 6 weeks into it I started having anxiety - for no outside reason. I read on the Ozempic pamphlet that this can be a rare side effect. Where can I get more specific information about this?
I had to stop, I had insane migraines, non-stop nausea, and unbelievable constipation. After 3 weeks of this I gave up. And when you stop, the side-effects don’t stop right away, but several days if not weeks. Good luck.
Hi!! I began Wegovy 4 weeks ago .25 mg. I did well week 1 & 2, end of week 3 into week 4 got bad! I feel "loopy" and even hypoglycemic-like with near passing out, a bit dizzy & off-kilter 😢 I really have high hopes for this med and have already lost weight but I feel terrrrrrible. Any thoughts/suggestions? -Katrina
I found the side effects to be minimal in my case (type 2 diabetic on a good diabetic's diet)...and overweight. The blood sugars were much better controlled with ozempic...and the weight loss was beginning to be more notable...and it was all going well. Now the trouble is getting the medication here in Aus...the same with Trulicity...this all happened when the media heralded these glutides as "wonder weight loss drugs"...then the pharmacies here were bombarded by the massesand regularly out of stock...they'd have it trickle in blah blah blah...all for the more vain of society taking it up for "miracle" weight loss...whilst us poor buggers who require it for medicinal purposes...struggle to access it. Just ridiculous that it isn't prioritised for those requiring it for diabetes treatment...than for those using for vanities sake (and don't get me wrong...I know not all were doing for vanities sake...but seriously...the bandwagon jumpers should be placed lower down the pecking order for these types of medications). Have now been without either of them for nearly 2-3 months, and up go the sugars and the weight gain...no matter how much I increase exercise or modify the diet to suit...and it's not available until at least early 2023 at the earliest....just beggars belief. Sorry...rant over!!!!!
If you just follow the carnivore food plan then the fat loss results and lower BSL numbers happen immediately. Wednesday morning I had a low BSL of 6.2 before breakfast. Usually my numbers are higher. For breakfast I had half of a small pawpaw and an hour later by BSL was 13.7. Healthy fresh fruit is toxic for me. I notice that it happens with all tropical fruits. My weight has also dropped 3 kgs since i began the carnivore plan 3 weeks ago. This morning I had 10 slices of fatty salami and there was no increase in the BSL. My constipation and gas troubles have reduced by 90 % in the 3 weeks. Dr Berry has pulled me away from so much misery . He also does shows with heart specialist Dr Ovadia and a keto senior doctor named Westermann. No Ozempic for me. Tasty meat and a great new lifestyle at 71 in Australia.
I lost roughly 30 lbs. I did not change my diet or incorporate an exercise program. Stopping the medication does depend on your individual situation. For example, if you are insulin resistant you may need to continue the medication because your body doesn’t process carbs normally. If you are simply using the medication for weight loss then you would be able to stop after you met your desired weight.
Is diabetic retinopathy something that only diabetics need to be concerned about, or as a non-diabetic, should I be concerned? Ozempic is very dehydrating for me; it affects my face especially. I get dry eye which I use drops for. I drink nothing but water, albeit not enough sometimes. I am currently taking 1 mg of ozempic. I have been titrations for 8 months slowly. I have also taken breaks from it because of the constant queezyness I feel most of the time. I have also only noticed recently that ozempic really affects my sense of taste - flavor is dulled in pretty much everything. When I go off, sense of taste reverts back to normal. I recently took 3 weeks off just to give my body a rest (and I was going to the beach for a few days and wanted to enjoy my food). I gained 3 lbs but I really think it was water weight. It has come off after just one week back on the medication. I have tried a lot of different things through the years to combat my weight and this is the only thing that works almost effortlessly - I almost feel like a normal eater! Thanks for sharing great information!
Great question! Non-diabetics do not need to be concerned with retinopathy. It sounds like you have a pretty decent plan in place that works for you and that is great!
From our experience, yes, diabetic retinopathy can be something to be monitored and tested for if you are pre-diabetic. My family member, a young man, gained weight only recently, during the pandemic, is overweight but not obese, and is now pre-diabetic. He already has diabetic retinopathy changes in both eyes. If you are concerned about symptoms please see your doctor straight away and have a specialised eye test.
I have really dry eyes, too, since I take Ozempic! I am 0,75 mg and have been to the MD because my impression ist that my eyes got worse. But there is nothing to worry, said my doctor. I take 1-3 times a hyaluronic drops for the eyes. that helps.
Been on it for over a year. Lost 35kg. Yes some side affects like nausea and running tummy but totally wothit as my type 2 diabetes is totally under controll
Hi had a thyroid hectomy.and take levothyroxine daily.im hesitant to start ozempic..I'm obese .doc did prescribe.now I'm hearing all these side effects? I read .I do know to be careful with when I take my ozempic shot..should I consult with endocrinologist? I do need to lose this weight.just monitor myself very closely? Help? Thanks
I took my first prescribed dose .5 on Tuesday bf supper. Next day a little nausea, dizzy, feeling exhausted no appetite. Didn’t eat at all. After work on that day holy hell! Vomiting most of the evening. Could not eat or drink as it made me vomit. I thought it was food poisoning. Aches and pains also. Slight headache. Cold extremities prob from dehydration. What can u take for this nausea before I get sick. Taking my second dose today. Off to Mexico on Sunday. Should I wait till after this trip to take the next dose. I’m not sure!
Hi, when you are ready to go up a dose can you do a couple of extra doses say the 4th week for example you’ve been on 0.25 for 3 weeks and 4th week just slightly add a few more clicks before the next new dose of 0.5 then again stay on that one for 3 weeks and then the 4th week again do a few more extra clicks for that last week before going up to 1 mg. Thankyou.
My stomach hates me. I'm on week 3 .25 right now. Type 2 diabetes. So much gas and bloating with nausea and headaches. I've been awake in pain all night from the gas and burping. Nothing helps. I think I'm going to ditch this crap and call it good. I don't know why anyone would volunteer for this for weight loss. It's miserable.
This injection is awful. My old lady was prescribed a 2mg injection for the first time/starting use. Reading all the other comments it sounds like people are using it for weight loss?!?! My spouse is a diabetic and other pills were crashing her glucose level and also wrecking her body. This injection she just took first injection 10 hours ago and she’s been vomiting the last 6 hours. Some people’s comments are absolutely insane… taking this shot to lose weight but aren’t dieting or exercising, and instead are just wrecking their body with this ridiculous “medicine”
Is she sure it was 2mg to start? I have never heard of any doctor prescribing anything that high right off the bat. I have been on Victoza and Ozempic (at different times) and both were started slowly on lower doses to allow the body to adjust. I had nausea and vomiting with both even starting on the lower doses, but it went away and was never that bad.
@@dguthrie11 we went to the hospital this morning. She was throwing up from about 11pm yesterday up to about 830am after we got into our room. they gave her an IV of, somethin, that finally made the nausea go away. She got 4 separate boxes/pens of this crap injection. 8mg each, one week dose of 2mg.
@FC That is an overdose of Ozempic. The starting dose is 0.25 mg not 2 mg. Some people throw up even on the 0.25 dose, but your wife was taking 8 times that dose. No wonder her body tried to get rid of it. Hope she recovered well in the end. If this was an actual doctor who prescribed it, please report them to your national medical ethics organisation.
@@janebrown7231 thanks for the comment. At the hospital they injected her with anti nausea meds and a vitamin bag as she depleted her body dramatically from the 12 hours of vomiting and dry heaving. She recovered well and was 100% a few days later.
I’m not sure if I want to even take it. I am seriously considering not taking it. I do need to loose weight as my A1C is 6.4, but I just need to be better at my diet.
I just started taking the .25 dose once a week. This is my second injection and after I felt a sharp pick feeling where I put the needle at...Have you heard of this before?
I get palpitations and high blood pressure during ist few days of injection. with heart pounding sensation and laboured breathing , i never had problems like this before. is it one of the reported side effects???
Those are not reported side effects of Semaglutide (Ozempic). However, a small (1-10%) of people have reported low blood pressure. Please make your provider aware of your findings!
I have a quick question I no longer going to use this drug but out of curiosity I did read that you can basically eat anything you want while taking this medication yet I see so many people stating that they can’t eat certain things or they have to avoid certain things. Does that pertain to the people that are using it for weight loss because I was giving it for type two diabetes but I had a bad reaction and ended up in the ER so I discontinued the use and thrown out the medicine but I was just wondering why there’s so many comments about people on various websites not being able to eat hardly anything while on that medication That doesn’t even sound healthy regardless, what they use is for
For those of us that have CKD ( chronic kidney disease).yes we humans need to drink plenty of proper fluids, but of u have kidney disease follow the amount of liquid a day your nephrologist has set for u. If you have any questions about increasing your liquids, contact your kidney dr.
I started on ozempic 2wks ago. My side effects just started this past Friday. I had nausea and stomach pains. My cycle was starting so that’s what I thought it was cause I sometimes do that. Normally when a take a massive crap 🤣 it stops. But it didn’t this time. Saturday morning I had diarrhea out of this world & nausea. So at this point I thought it was a stomach virus. So I hydrated myself & had soups. My symptoms subsided. Sunday & Monday I was fine. Tuesday it came back. Nausea, diarrhea & now dry vomiting. I hadn’t really ate anything solid since Friday so there was nothing for me to throw up. My stomach & throat was so sore. At this point I said this is not stomach virus. OMG I was thinking I was pregnant, had COVID & everything. But something hit me, check the side effects of ozempic. And there was my answer. I seriously thought I was on my way out yall. 🤣 But in 2wks I’m 10lbs lighter from all the crap that came out. I know it’s water & fecal weight but I’ll take it 🤷🏽♀️
@@nataliedeshow768 it’s still a battle here. Every time my dosage went up I get sick. When I eat I sort of get nauseated just looking at food. I just came back from vacation & a girl in the group saw how I was eating she asked me you trying to eat light like me. I said no the medication I’m on makes me a little nauseous when I eat 🤷🏽♀️
@@franchiseplaya75 yes I really don't like the nausea at all!! Thought I was gonna throw up a few times but didn't. Don't like the gas either but I think the doctor gave me too much as she started me at 1 mg. I told her I wanted the lower dosage of .5 mg as I was having too many side effects and just wasn't feeling good so she gave me a prescription for the lower dosage. I think it was too much for my body to handle. I think I'm supposed to take the .5 for 4 weeks, then they will increase to 1 mg. Also had lethargy the day after I took the Ozempic and just laid in bed all day, had absolutely no energy which is terrible on a holiday weekend. Hope you start feeling better soon!! Take care.
Ask your doctor, that’s what I did. She started me at 1 mg. Which was too high. I’ve heard most people start at .5 mg so she switched me to .5 as I felt terrible at 1 mg. Lots of nausea, no vomiting but LOTS of gas, stomach aches and lethargy. Can’t live that way. Hopefully I don’t experience that at the lower dosage.
How do I know I injected correctly? I put the pin on my thigh, pushed the button, waited 6 seconds, and lifted the pin. This is my second dose. The first bleed and I did have side effects and I have lost weight. But this second dose was so easy and painless. I'm not confident. But we will see this coming week.
Sometimes you don’t feel a thing and other times you do! Best advice is to check the plunger in the pen to make sure it moves after each dose and look for a significant amount of liquid on the skin which would indicate it didn’t go in.
How much have you guys lost, for example in a month? I'm on the 1 mg and I just can't eat much, I'm not hungry at all! I have gastric side effects, but not so bad I want to stop. I'm losing pretty fast!
I regretfully took my first shot 7/1. Ended up in the ER. ER docs said a few weeks to get it out of my system but I read 5 weeks and you can’t flush it out faster. Is this true ? I totally regret taking it and threw out the rest. I have Type 2 Diabetes but I will get my numbers down myself which I was already doing before my doc insisted I take it. Ugh. I do regret it Thanks for any info you have on this 😌
I started ozempic to lose some weight. Within 7 weeks my BP dropped 20 points I've never been able to treat my hypertention. My ocular rosacea/ dry eyes have dramatically improved. In addition, no more urination at night. I'm amazed. I did lose 5 pounds too. I have no idea why all these things improved. I got Ozempic on line. With all the improvement I asked my doctor about perscribing it for me....Absolutely not. Upside down world.
That is perfectly ok! Some prefer their thigh because they feel like they experience less side effects. The theory behind this is that although similar, the absorption of the stomach and thigh may be slightly different.
The truth is that human evolution cannot keep up with the food and pharmaceutical industry. What our Ancestors ate at the beginning of time contained very few carbohydrates and no sugars at all. That food still suits humans perfectly. The biggest problem with plant-based foods is oxalates, they cause a lack of nutrients, which results in cravings and even constant hunger.
On Ozempic now 1.0 so damn hungry can't stand it was on wegovy insurance won't pay so on Ozempic it does nothing. I also have diabetic retrophy before it was given to me
Hi Katherine, thanks for sharing your experience. I’m sorry it hasn’t been beneficial for you - like all medicines, sometimes they just don’t work 😕 you are correct, you can have retinopathy prior to starting the medication but research has shown an association of higher rates for those on Ozempic.
I’m real sorry to hear that. I was given this medicine for type two diabetes and after my first injection I ended up in the ER now I threw the meds in the trash when I got home I’m just praying that the medicine gets out of my system as fast as possible. Hope you’re feeling better ♥️🙏🏻
