@@v_r_ Hey brother, I know this is super random and unrelated to this video, but was just curious. I know you're a huge Spier & Mackay fan, but have you ever checked out Pini Parma?
Totally with you once again. The pinnacle would be the Edward Green Dover, but these are amazing. Split toe derby fit amazingly under a suit as well as jeans, fantastic for dressing down or up and immortal. Must have!
Happy to see you putting out content again brother! I bought this pair after I watched your first video and they're awesome! I went a little heavy on the toe shine but oh well, still get compliments often! Now the real reason for my comment, I just noticed the CR logo on the corner of the video, very nice and classy touch!
Excellent intro. Vlad, a video idea. Ever watch Sportscasters and the way they dress. For the most part sartorial but also polo shirts with suits and sneakers with suits for instance.yYou are a genius at style critique. I feel they follow your advice, tho.
I have had these shoes for a few years now and I still reach out for them from time to time. They’re still good looking and absolutely have been good value for money. Your remarks about the apron and the rolling of the leather are spot on.
2 lovely pairs reviewed in succession, TLB captoes and these, gorgeous brown color on both. I don't know why, but it seems to be easier to make black leather look more expensive than it is but dark brown or museum can be tricky, it might take a certain quality, thickness and pliability of hide to really absorb the dyes and get the depth of color, I've never seen deep dark brown on cheaper shoes, they tend to have a reddish tint or just lack the color volume.
@@v_r_ Vlad: all good here. Going to London on the 13th May for the Super Trunk Show, so I'll see a lot of shoes! Yep, I like the SpTD and would add more to my collection too. Glad you're supporting the smaller brands doing quality. Best - Tony
Vlad I would love to hear your perspective on wedding attire for the groom. What do you think of these ideas as I'm giving advice to my cousin for his wedding. 1. Wearing braces together with a cummerbund for a dinner suit (White blazer to be exact). 2. Cuffing black dinner trousers with satin stipe on legs. 3. Morning suits for the groom... I noticed it is not commonly worn in North America but it would be cool to hear your perspective. Love.
What’s up, bro? 1. Braces are to hold your trousers up. So you can definitely wear them with a cummerbund unlike belts with braces since they serve the same exact function. 2. No cuffs on formal trousers. 3. We don’t do morning suits here in America. So unless he’s going for a specific theme, I wouldn’t. I hope that helps.
One can never have too many SpTD. If I wasn't afraid of getting my ass kicked by my girlfriend I'd have more than 2. I remember when you had none. That was a looooong time ago 😂
Yeah, I wanted those but they didn't have my size and I would have had to wait 😮. I already have the Carmina version (for like 13 yrs) but your vids made me want another pair. Thx fam😫 😂😂😂 I got the TLBs. But that UTAH on Dainite??? 🔥
I like the TLB because of the hand sewn apron too but I don’t own it. But like you said, that Utah leather and the price is what sets the SoH version apart.
