Yea , there are several things if I knew what they would sell for in the future I would have bought & kept . Like Hot Wheels redlines , GI Joes . I know my dad , in the 60’s bought surplus rifles , cleaned the cosmoline off them & resold them for a profit , wish he would have kept those . Wish I still had my 1970 Malibu , my Maverick or my 1948 Plymouth . Thanks for watching & commenting

I got 2 chicom carbines I picked up about years ago both bores were pretty good and one has really good black wood furniture though a little pitting on some of the non mechanical metal parts, both factory 296's 1954 and 55 respectively. The one from 55 though has a nice 3inx 2in gash in the stock though, i think some landlord got beat with it during the cultural revolution. Obviously no part as matching numbers at all. I saw you commented one of Killwillc's hiphop songs bout enjoying it, so I thought this new genre of hiphop I found called 'Military Candice rap' may be up your alley. Thanks for the info , I will look the songs up and give them a listen . I am very diverse in my music . Some else I came across is a UK musician called Ren , he has some good songs . Have you shot your carbines ? , I don’t think there will be much different between the Mosin , Polish or the Chinese , except in quality control and finish . Man the blueing is amazing, I’ve got a 1955 that the serial is almost exactly 100,000 off yours and mines beat to heck but fun to shoot. I’ve got the polish as well and looking for a Hungarian😂because I’m part Polish and part Hungarian. Good luck in your hunt, mosins are hard to come by in Australia so I reckon you’ll find one first.

I was able to purchase it from Gunbroker for $345.00 , I do not remember if that included shipping , but if not it most likely was , at most $40.00 , since it is a carbine length . Then my transfer fee of $40.00. I could have a C&R license , but living in a HOA area I don’t need deliveries setting outside my door for neighbors to see & question what I am getting
