I’ve had nothing but issues with my feet and putting in serious miles without having an issue. I’ve tried tons of shoes and after listening to his podcast with the Speed land guys I decided to preorder these. Like you, Cams a huge inspiration to me who inspired me to do my first ultra
That’s awesome man! Hoping these shoes work out for you. Seems like they need a solid 50 miles to break in so don’t panic if they feel stiff at first. I’m really starting to like em now 👌🏻
They arrived, tried them on and WOW these things are insane. Just did 38 miles in my hokas and officially retired them so I was excited to use them…unfortunately they are a bit too wide so I had to downsize, can’t wait to use them and put up a review myself.
Seem to be pretty good shoes. Durable, comfy and esthetic. I would likely recommend going half a size down from what you normally run in. If you order a pair tell them psilly runner sent you 🙏🏻
I have about 500 miles on my TAMs and wear a 9.5 - the first time I put them on I figured I needed a 9 because of the scrunching but man I'm so glad I stuck with the 9.5. It's a non-issue for me. No blisters, no discomfort, it's honestly the best upper in the entire sport, totally incomparable to anything else.
I'm a HUGE Salomon guy, too. The Genesis is probably my second favorite shoe ever, your S/Lab Ultra 3 is probably third. You'll love these, friend, I hope!
I am maybe wishing I had gone with a 8.5, but after my first run in these this morning I mostly like them. Definitely just need a little getting used to them I think. They do seem extremely durable 💪🏻
@@psillyrunner8650 comfort, gripping ability, stability and how long they last. Im mostly a trail runner but I often travel on business and need to run on the roads and I find them pretty kick ass for that as well.
