In June 2020, KM1 Modellbau delivered the 1 : 32 scale 1-gauge brass model of the 150 / E 50 series electric locomotive. The true to scale 609 mm long electric locomotive weighs 5.3 kilograms and has pantographs moved electrically by servo motor as well as other light and sound functions.
I was allowed to try out and photograph this model, which was listed for 2890 euros, on loan for two weeks as part of a contribution planned for the German trade journal Eisenbahnmagazin. On this occasion I also recorded many video sequences and edited them for this unboxing video. The model has a LokSound5XL multi-protocol decoder from ESU and on this basis has 32 digitally switchable functions on an mfx center or a DCC center.
The video consists of the following sections:
00:00 greeting, unboxing shipping box
00:22 Realized model variants and price of the model
00:50 Unboxing locomotive cardboard
01:16 operating instructions (with view of the pages)
