The mint condition dmg with the Game Freak paper is so cool! If I remember correctly before Game Freak became the company that everyone knows today as the people that created Pokémon, they were a small company that made and sold game guides/magazines in Japan. So having that paper is a relic! So cool!
Game Freak was the name of the arcade enthusiast/guide fanzine which Satoshi Tajiri wrote and edited in the 80's. Ken Sugimori became its illustrator. I would really love to see a "Pokemon: The Origin" manga or something sometime about those early days.

The game that came in the clear GBC is Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland! I am pretty sure it is the first in the Dragon Warrior/Quest Monsters series :)
5:14 the game is "dragon quest monsters," which was released in the US as "dragon warriors monsters" because of a copyright dispute. it's s spin-off from the main dragon quest series in which you can add the monsters from the game to your party, which was presumably done to capitalize on the popularity of pokemon at the time.

I'm sorry, but I am really confused about how something that has "Never, ever, EVER been opened before" can have a burned screen. How is that possible?
A new one would not have a burnt screen. I personally wouldn't have bothered if I had seen the photos of the burnt screen. Mint condition ones inc clean box can be picked up for sub £700 on ebay. Get rid of some of the horded tat and put the cash towards some pristine examples before they get snatched up.
Here in the US you can take sunglasses with scratches on them to the bigger sunglasses stores and they will resurface them if possible, or order new lenses.

Just bought a "boxed" Astro Boy myself, Ebay seller had already sold it unfortunately. So I'm just having a a near mint condition one substituted. Kind of gutted about not having the box though.

That game the clear gameboy came with is referred to as Dragon Warrior monsters in the west. One of my favorite games ever highly recommend giving it a go!
Elliot, just a few months ago I made my first Sendico purchase (from here in Korea). I finally purchased a Gameboy Light. It was gold and to my surprise it had a working light. I rebuilt it into a clear Famitsu shell with white buttons and no mods. Total purchase price for the GBL was approx. $105 with shipping. With shell, buttons etc. approx $120. If you have another video asking for pics of gameboys I will submit it. What a nice "treasure box" opening video from Sendico. Keep up the great videos. Tom D.
Hey! So for the super yellowed clear Gameboy, it is fixable. What you should do is build a black light setup and then submerge the two sides in a 12% peroxide solution for around 36-48 hours and it probably will revert most likely ! Hope that works
through sendico i snagged a new 3ds (non xl) with the rainbow monster hunter plates for like, $150. never would have found it on ebay around here. godsend service

I've bought many things from japan and honestly they're always in fantastic condition and price compared to the things I find in the UK. There's not as much of a heavy collector ripoff market there. I bought a "used" OLED vita for 100 and it came with all the inserts, box, and had zero scratches or signs of use. Meanwhile a few years ago the vita slim I bought in the UK for 40 was scratched to hell and back and needed a full shell replacement.
The color of that sun damaged GameBoy is actually really nice looking. Give it a nice clean and repair, but I say don't bother with the retrobrite treatment. I'd love a GameBoy that looked like that for myself.
Hi Elliot, I don't know if this would interest you personally, but I recently discovered that there were Pokemon Black & White DSi versions released with the games. I think these would be cool in a video, though that may be just me. Thanks if you took the time to read this :)
