The fx3 shaver was the best thing from the red set, the trimmer was almost too sharp the barbers I cut in my shop say I have a super light hand. The clipper was good with bulk I agree but the half guard almost didn't blend into the open clipper and would cause issues. Also they could tighten up all the issues and give a charging stand considering the price of the clipper and trimmer if they were serious about re-releasing this package.

You mind doing a versus bro with both black and red fx3 , because I know the red ones too sharp I want to see if the black the same or did they do something different with that blade in not biting?

The best thing out of the whole set was the shaver. Still probably one of my top three shavers that I use. The trimmer was just way to sharp.No matter what I did I just could not set it right. I thought that the clipper was total garbage. It clogged up on me basically after every other haircut the guards were horrible. They would just basically fall right off of the clipper. I’m all set with the black set.

Clipper is solid. Biggest issue is the trash guard system. The after market guards they sell are better but still subpar

Hi. Good video. What would you advise for balding? I've been using Wahl Clippers for years, and that's all I know. I saw another video recommending this brand over Wahl, but I would like to know if i should buy a Clipper or a Trimmer for balding in combination with a shaver? I need to know before I make a purchase mistake. Thank you.

What clip on mic do yu use bro? And tbh i have the red set and the clipper i agree was a more difficult learning curve i say bc the guard system i didnt mind the lever being in the middle but I personally dont like the feeling of plastic guards even tho it did feel sturdy… a lot of other barbers mentioned the half guard isnt the best to blend and I completely agree. I was going to say i saw yu struggling fading when using the clipper bro. As for the trimmer u have the philthy blendz mod got a gold fx blade on it and its better in my opinion 💯

Had the fx3 trimmer in red. Was just so savage no matter what I did with the blade. Was awesome for lineups though

Looks clean too bad only thing in the red set worth it was the shaver. Trimmer blade was WAY too sharp even for guys like myself with a light hand. Clipper felt like a toy and the guards made it unbearable to use

Not really “new” if it’s just a reskin of the previous version with a slightly improved blade and still no charging dock. These clipper companies need to get the fuck on with calling it “new” when they just reskins. Making all the barbers look like fools and clowns purchasing the same shit with a new color.
