Marsella is to the Roy at NV just like the Connemara is to the Galway at Edward Green. I bought this 3/4 version of the field boot to broaden my collection a bit, and to bring a higher end focus to the collection, as I combine the tier 4 priced boots of Sons of Henrey, Meermin and Carlos Santos, the Tier 2 Midas , Enzo Bonafe and Blazing Wonders and Yearn and Tier 1 Edward Green and Norman Vilalta. I think it rounds out the collection well. Funny enough the Midas, Enzo, Blazing Wonders and Yearn are all in Shell Cordovan which puts them well into the Tier 1 range. But the boots have significant up charges (100% for the Enzo) for shell Cordovan.

The quality of this leather was clear during the unboxing, and he finishing is consistent with shoes in this price range. These are very high quality dress boots. GYW to last a generation.
