Just an FYI, that foam in the cooler is polyisocyanurate. It has a really high R-value per inch, which means it insulates very well for a given thickness compared to other insulators like styrofoam and fiberglass. After vacuum insulation and aerogel, it's pretty much the best you can get.

Jeremy, have you done much work with high tech spark plugs and ignition systems on boosted engines? As the cylinder pressure rises (as I understand it) two bad things happen... (1) Paschens's Law bites you... in that the increased pressure makes it much harder to create a spark across a given gap, and (2) it becomes harder to ignite the mixture and create a large flame front. Running a smaller gap helps defeat Paschen, but it exacerbates the issue of not creating a large flame front. Longer duration spark is also a big help in creating a large flame front... but not well understood by most. The multi-gap surface spark plugs seem to be at an advantage, but you will also need a much more powerful ignition... and possibly a multi-spark system to create the much-needed large flame-front to burn more of the fuel and prevent misfires.

Hey Jeremy I use one of them pumps in my live well on my boat you might want to put silicone where the wires go into the pump because they will leak water and the pump will fill up with water I had to take mine apart and get the water out of it then silicone everything as I put it back together and it's fine now great video

For the pump, you can pop that bottom red cap off and screw it down to the makeshift tank. Then just pop the pump right back on the cap. Solid pump!

If the heat exchanger is anything like water-cooling a PC the order doesn't matter. All the liquid will come to an equilibrium. For just icing it down for a drag pass I guess that order would be best for everyday driving I don't think it would matter.

I love how this is a grown mans haggard channel like we have some money and some means to accomplish stuff . This is not a bad thing this is something that doesn’t happen on RU-vid besides kids channels... I love being able to make things work and still not really compromising much that a regular weekend warrior type guy would compromise on. What I’m really saying is the half assness of this project and it’s cool factor is what keeps me watching. I love that your not just throwing money at it. Epoxy the pump to the bottom of the cooler and use some plumber strapping to make sure it don't move side to side

Magic sauce for making the charge as cold as possible: Fill with ice and SALT, and use windshield fluid as the coolant. It wont ice up, and it'll get cold as fuck.

You should of hide all the line in the back of the cooler so when you open the trunk looks like it's a cooler in a trunk sleeper look

So Ford went less displacement and added boost to get fuel efficiency. If I put boost on my 5-3 LS in my half ton Silverado would that equal better efficiency? 10 miles per gallon just doesn't work! Blower or a turbo?

What kind of gains do you see from the valley cover heat shield? I made one a few years back just because, and I thought I could tell a difference when hotlapping the car.
