Had to watch this again because I'm about to start fishing them constantly soon. I've already switched from chatterbaits to poppers and almost time for cranking
@@MattStefanFishing thanks Matt your one of the few pro angler's that answer s me . That's why I don't watch other pro angler's videos because every time I have a question I never get a reply. Randy B he always replies to I think you and Randy are the most humble pro angler's out there. Hey Matt I like the Berkeley DIME and the money badger . Have not had a chance to use them yet but I will this coming season. Thanks again and God bless you and your family I hope little Hank is doing well.
What a video, Matt the largest Bass I've ever caught on a deep diving crankbait was in a rock bar in 3' off water on Kerr lake during the Redman Regional championship, buddy you are right on point 👍
Great video. Crankbaits are a favorite of mine. Competed against the Piedmont crankbait best for years. In recent years it was disappointing that Fritts didn't do better in tournaments. I don't know if he was fishing crankbaits but maybe fishing isn't as good for crankbaits as it used to be. I don't know. Thanks for sharing your tips.
Matt, you will never be able to explain the chain to bass guys. The walleye pros don't get it either. But when you get good. You can do it with 6 lines at once. Good luck in your season. I say luck because I believe in your skills.
Good stuff Matt. If possible could you do a video specifically on pink crankbaits? Ive never fished one and would like to know when, where, how. Thanks. 👍👍👍
Bill Lewis ATV is my favorite Square Bill for avoiding weed hangups. But I also prefer "L" Bills for shallow presentations over grass. They also have a more level swim to them that I feel is more natural looking.
🍺10 day count down. Cooper says 3.5 feet low but grass is back. Can be treacherous when the wind blows. It’s highly suggested to stay in the boat lanes if you’re not familiar with the area. Cooper said it was fishing excellent just prior to off limits. He thinks 100 lb per day and 150lb on Championship day🤠.
Great video as always. What color crankbait would you recommend in water that has 2 or 3 foot of visibility and the water temperature is around 40 degrees. Thank you
I also cast my spinnerbait to the out side of matted grass on the bank , in like 6 to 8 ft water let the spinnerbait sink to the bottom almost like fishing a jig , then after it hits the bottom I slow roll with tip drags real slow and smoke em w it
