While watching the first game i jokingly asked "i wonder how T1 will manage to lose this?" Then it actually happened. I know that Faker is the greatest player in League's history but any other mid would get some extreme flame for his performance in this tournament.

I watched everything live and I am watching it again … my boys blg were doubted because of that one fucking game they inted vs gg in playins. Glad they put back some respect on their name

Disappointed with T1's performance today after the insane series against JDG. They just seemed so underprepared that it makes me think they just prepped only for GenG. Sidenote: nobody is talking about Tabe having accomplished so much as a coach. For sure a goat coach, no?

Honestly, the story of this series to me was that Keria and Gumayusi just couldn't lane against Elk and ON... No matter what they picked, it seemed like they couldn't get the push against them... Don't know if it was Lulu being that busted in lane or Elk > Gumayusi, or a combination of both those things, but they got pinned under the turret and dove repeadtely, putting Gumayusi on the back foot for the rest of the game... With that BLG controlled the bottom half of the map and just got better vision and better drake control. Game 3 should've been a BLG victory too... It started off much like Game 4, Guma got dove and put behind, Faker was pushed under the turret, BLG in complete control, but then ON threw with bad positioning on Lulu giving back 2 kills in bot lane for no reason which got T1 back into the game... If he plays it more reserved like he did in Game 4 the outcome would have been similar, imo... I think Zeus was the best player on T1, his Gragas game was very good, and even in Game 4 he sacrificed lane to help bot lane... Oner was OK, tho he got outplayed, there's not really much he can do when both his mid and bot are getting chunked and pushed under the turret... This means XUN can play aggressively in his jungle because he knows he has backup from 2 lanes... Oner tried stopping the dives a couple of times but BLG was just too clean or they wasted his time. He got Faker ahead one or two games but it didn't matter. Which brings me to Faker... That was rough, man. His Lissandra was not good... All tournament it seemed like he had trouble playing these squishy engage champs like Annie and Lissandra... Not necessarily that he botched his mechanics, but his engages were super off with the rest of his team... Either going too soon, or too late... The K'Sante worked primarily because K'Sante is broken and super forgivable on engages... You can just dive head first into a team with that champ and still survive because he's stupid tanky has dash, CC AOE slow knockup and jump out attached to someone 1000 pixels away... The Ahri game was on him to carry through the mid game since he got ahead and played against Naut mid but he couldn't do anything. He landed a nice charm on Elk late game, but it was too little too late at that point. Needed to find ways to do that sooner. Says a lot that i don't think Yagao is that good of a mid laner (definitely the worst player on BLG imo) and Faker really couldn't carry any advantages over him into the other lanes or in teamfights mid and late game.

BLG keeps getting better every round like DRX while T1 finds new ways to dissapoint.

ON showed a completely new level this tournament. I've watched him run it down for years in LPL. And now he's completely fucking Guma/Keria in lane, perfectly setting up dives, and showing textbook enchanter play in teamfights. I can only remember a few times that he got caught out this entire tournament, compare that to Keria who got caught constantly in this series alone. He won't get a lot of praise because his teammates are so flashy but he's really peaking right now.

Honestly from what i've been seeing the entire tournament, there is a massive meta-read difference between teams that really hurt some teams. Gen.G and T1 were pretty late to do anything about the bot dive meta, and the fact that Annie + Wukong combo is absurdly strong. The priority of all games should've been to get Jinx botlane ASAP with one of those takeaways.

Bengi, as a former jungler, couldn't explain to the oner that he needed to build his way through the jungle to cover the bot?
