Eyo Bassey is the CEO of RomFlex Group and PayPorte Global Systems one of the top leading eCommerce companies in Nigeria. He has described himself as an innovator, a creator and a developer of technology solutions. After creating these, he nurtures them to become successful companies and finally transits them to capable young teams to run them profitably thereby creating jobs and giving confidence to younger entrepreneurs.
A graduate of the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, He has also attended Harvard Business School and has numerous successful softwares under his belt.
He has been involved in several projects across Africa such as enterprise business solution for the Ghana Post, roll-out of the e-passport for the Nigerian Immigration Service, setup of the largest e-library and e-learning hub in East Africa (MUBS Uganda), e-commerce (payporte.com), development of software for revenue collections by various State Governments in Nigeria, establishment of electronic voters register for Nigerian Government amongst other projects.
Eyo has also been awarded "Pan-African Leadership Prize for Excellence" by the African Student Union Parliament and is a honorary citizen of Dallas Texas and an Alumni of the U.S. State Department.
