maybe its the Pistons fan bias in me but imo the Pistons probably have the best situation of any team to allow Wemby to succeed his rookie year, pair Wemby with two great playmakers in Cade and Ivey, and starting Duren alongside Wemby makes it so Wemby wont get bullied in the paint by bigs and will allow Wemby to roam the paint and be an elite help defender/shot blocker. Like I could see Wemby average 20-7-2 with 3+ blocks per game his rookie season with the Pistons

@@justguy9418 he'd def have a solid situation in Detroit, but his rookie numbers would be crazier in Dallas, Portland, and San Antonio

@@ImAlxxy I didnt saying Portland because of the whole confusion and trade rumors around Dame, and also big men kinda have an injury history in Portland so just me being superstitious. Also Dallas has only a 3% chance of the 1st pick so I wanted to be realistic. And lmao, no to San Antonio. Im sorry but I cant expect him to have a better rookie season if the main guy who gets Wemby the ball is Tre Jones. Not hating on Tre Jones but like, come on. Who would you rather be the playmakers for Wemby, Tre Jones and Devonte Graham, or Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey. Like sure, he may average 4 or so more points due to there being less options in SA, but without a doubt his efficiency will drop much more in SA than in DET and his weight will be a MUCH bigger issue on defense. And I swear people really dont think about Wemby's potential situation in San Antonio and only like him there based on pure aesthetics and storylines.

@@justguy9418 in the hypothetical Wemby spurs, I think they pivot harder on sochan being a playmaker, as he is somehow a solid 1-4 defender with plus playmaking, and Devin vassell has been getting better. That team's defensive potential would be bonkers, but would lack scoring options, which I'd assume wemby would be fed. Their team holes would inflate Wemby's involvement and stats.
