The actual quote was something more along the lines of "if we added Mai Shiranui instead of Terry, we could have gotten into some issues with the game's Age-Rating", as Japan is somewhat stricter on certain aspects.

Because Steve is also literally the only DLC-Character that he actually knows the original game of. He even openly said, back when Steve came out, that that's the reason he's always so luke-warm to all the Reveals, he just straight-up doesn't any of them, so he's completely indifferent.

@@Xenowolf8 tbf, Xenoblade is a very story driven game, since he plays a game for like 20 minutes in this format he will not even get into the first real fight. Also, the game has a VERY slow start imo, i did not play much of it either bc i expected something else and the fighting system was not ment for me. Very possible it gets faster and smoother with time, but i did not have a lot of time back then. So what i wanna say: Xeno is not a bad game, is has a very deep story, but i think he will not be able to really appreciate it in that format.

They played mario kart wii and deluxe they played mario and sonic olympic games, and they played minecraft

yes but also you can play a ton of games outside of smash and still never have heard of xenoblade, it's not that popular. let alone a side character from the sequel

Zack has stated what game series he's played and the number can be counted on one hand. He needs to grow up and branch out or shut up. If you don't have even basic character knowledge about Sephiroth (the most iconic video game villain of all time) or Pyra/Mothra which the entire smash fanbase wanted on release (cause tbh they should've been) then you can't say "literally who" every dlc reveal. Because at that point its not that the character is slightly obscure, its your lack of ANY game knowledge.

If you watch other underdog stuff and q and a he tells us about the video games of his childhood. So what if he doesn't know that about ff or xenoblade. Same! I immediately compared PyraMythra to King Rhoam from Age of Calamity. Her moves being slower and stronger as Pyra and faster and weaker as Mythra. I enjoyed Rhoam a lot, so I can't wait to play the Zeno Girls... once I get money to buy the 2 DLC packs...
