So sweet having your Princess visit with us❣️😻😻😻 I had to return my second KBS machine, also defective and I’m waiting for the Kitchenarm to arrive on Monday. It’s a great machine but the bucket is vertical which is why I returned the first one. Since I’ve returned four machines already, I went back to Kitchenarm based on durability. These type of videos are fine with me, especially with complicated recipes. Thanks 😊

The kitchenarm looks like a nice machine. I would love to be able to try lots of different machines.

@@ButterflyMeadowsHomestead well, I tried cuisinart convection bread machine and it made clunking noises and customer service said to return it. Their customer service is excellent. Cuisinart also has a non convection model with a vertical bucket but since I already tried Kitchenarm and liked it, I’m getting another one. Panasonic is one I would really like to try, the 2540 model, but Amazon didn’t have it in stock plus it’s $300 and that’s too pricey for me right now so for under $100 I went with Kitchenarm. My husband likes pound cake, but it comes out a little dense, maybe you know how to lighten it? Thanks

How was your machine defective? I just received my first ever machine yesterday and its a KBS. I haven't had the chance to try it yet. What happened with yours? Just trying to know what to look out for.

@@bwessp31w42 both models had clunking noises at the end of a cycle. The heating element stopped working on the second. I chose it for the horizontal ceramic bucket and it’s keto setting for making my keto bread which came out great but have returned those and went back to Kitchenarm. Can’t afford the Panasonic or Zojirushi.

Oh! Good to know! I'll watch out for that for sure. Thanks for letting me know. I did see your other one on Amazon. It looks nice too! Good choice!

Thank you so much for this video. It helped alot. And thank you so much for showing your Calico. She is amazing. It makes me miss my Loki (a calico) to the point I just might go adopt another one. But, I digress. This helped me out a lot with my KBS bread machine. Cheers from NJ.

I love this, my bread machine doesn't have a book. I wanted to know what the differences are and what the settings mean.

Hi! Thanks for the great video. One of the things I was looking forward to while waiting for my bread machine to arrive was being able to read the manual and understand what all the different settings are used for. I'm still as confused as before. Could you do a run through of the settings and what they are used for in the real world? I love that you said in a prior video that the soft bread is used for white bread. I didn't know that. I'm so new to this, so I apologize to everyone else for asking basic questions. I'm also looking for a pizza dough recipe for 1 crust (not 2) made with whole wheat flour. Which setting would I use for that? What's the difference between raw dough and leaven dough? You're the best! I'm learning do much! ❤

I will definitely do a run through of the different settings I think it is important to know this if you are going to get good use of your bread machine. I have a pizza dough recipe, I will try to make that a priority as I know many want to know. Never feel bad for asking questions, we were not born knowing these things. The raw dough cycle is a simple mixing cycle nothing more, the leaven dough cycle is used for what some might call a sponge or a starter dough, it has a built in fermentation time. I hope this answer helped. I look forward to doing more videos on how to use your bread machine. Thanks for watching.

I love my KBS bread machine! I liked this video explanation and Princess of course! I do have a question on the 3 grain bread in the KBS recipe book it is recommended to use menu 5/8? How do you do that? I've only had my machine for 2 weeks so I haven't been able to play around with it that much. I have made 3 loaves of bread so far! Thanks for making your videos!
@ButterflyMeadowsHomestead
@ButterflyMeadowsHomestead 7 месяцев назад
Is that the book that came with the machine or one you bought?

Yes.

In the recipe book that came with my machine there are no references to which menu to choose, which is disappointing.. If the book is one you bought separately then I have no way of knowing what it might mean. However: Menu 5 is whole wheat and menu 8 is multigrain so if I were guessing I would say you could use either one of those options.
@blondie1074

I was thinking you could use either one but wasn’t sure! Thank you so much for the quick response..

Question. I just bought a KBS bread maker as well and the first stir cycle it sounds like a sea lion and then at one point there were 3 clicks. I couldn't find any information on this other than the shaft may need oiled but the clicking... was that the fruit and nut dispenser? Just curious if you experienced this with your machine at all?
@ButterflyMeadowsHomestead
@ButterflyMeadowsHomestead 7 месяцев назад
It was most likely the fruit and nut dispensary. It makes a clicking sound when it opens the dispenser.

I hit send just a smidge too early. I came across your videos when I had been looking up reviews of the KBS and ended up with the newer model. It's beautiful but this first run concerned me with the loud seal sounds as the 25 minute stir cycle was running. My first bread maker was a hand me down from a friend and it's a super old west bend and I only replaced it because the non stick coating started chipping. I'm hoping the KBS lives up to it and surpasses my expectations. I absolutely love your videos and thanks to you I may get into sour dough.
