⚠️ Just after 2:00 .. you’re speaking about the Sartorius muscle.. but your video shows the Gracilis muscle instead. Mistakes happen … I’m sure you can edit your video to correct the error. Best wishes, John Stiner stinermassage Durham NC

It would also be good to present movements that are not in every textbook and teaching aid, they are even not there, but they exist: external, internal rotation when hip flexed fg. 90 deg. Internal and external rotation when hip is abducted. Or contribution in horizontal abduction gluteus muscles.

you are absolutely right! maybe I ll follow up on this! thank you so much for pointing this out! have a good one!

TFl works synergistically with the gluteus medius and gluteus minimus to internally rotate and abduct the hip and with the gluteus maximus via the IT band to abduct the hip. Kindly cross check.
@AnatomyLab
@AnatomyLab Месяц назад
thx for your input, but what has this to do with external rotation?

I have been watched your videos and I make the movements together to try to feel my muscles and bones/joints. Thanks for giving me the tickets for the trips I can make inside my own body.

that’s a good one! now I have a travel agency as well! I m glad you enjoy the videos and that’s exactly what they are made for! knowing insertions and so forth is one thing, but feeling the muscles, joints,.. and controlling them are the true mastery

this video is sorely needed since I over-stretched my SI joint. trying to figure out what's happening there. getting better.
@AnatomyLab
@AnatomyLab Месяц назад
hey Ben sorry to hear. usually I don’t like to give advice for a person that I haven’t met in person but if you really have overstretch these structures around your SI joint is what I would do give it some rest maybe treat it with warm or cold whatever is better for you if it doesn’t get better don’t try to solve yourself. Just go to a massage therapist, osteopath, physiotherapist. they usually can help you out in one or two sessions and you will be back to your old /new self again. just don’t let it linger on if the body doesn’t heal it within a week at all get help that’s the quickest way to recover for my body. Maybe it helps.
