Altair Ibn L'ahad was the first assassin protagonist we ever got to play as. his story is one of my favourites in all of fiction and my favourite within assassin's creed. lets take a look at his psychology and see how this man has developed over the years.

Dr. Mick is a cool dude. He's on RU-vid and Tiktok. He's went through many games giving his input as a therapists( I know different titles but he's the closest I know ) on the characters and how they act. Check him out. Also do you have any vids on Shao Jun by chance? I feel like she doesn't get much love

I could say in Ezio's way , A life is a life of a suffering , first you suffer , than others suffer from the your hands . And i could mention , that Basim was probably a Schizofrenic , because Nihal was a Fictional Character , that existed only inside his head . And the most interesting thing is the ending of the AC Movie , which is Literally Mindblowing and Literally Out of the Mind ( of the Callum Lynch ) . I mean the way , or i Mean in Which way Callum Lynch Became an Assassin 😮❤ !
@josipiris5794

Oh yes you could separate them into PD ( Personality Disorders ) or Even worser , remember the bleeding of the Memories , that was just a Hallucinations , and on the Movie it shows you , what happens , when you don't align or didn't have the Power to align . With theirs AA ( Assassin Ancestors ) , that leads us to the Basim Al-Ishaq , Desmond Miles , Callum Lynch . Oh yeah and the Pd's , the PPD's ( Google it ) Altair Ibn La'Ahad , Arno Victor Dorian , Jacob Frye . The SPD's Ezio , Connor , Edward , and the Evie Frye . On the first glance they are , but they are really not , because this is all a Mirage . Because being an Assassin , means going through an Transformation .
@josipiris5794
@josipiris5794 6 месяцев назад
Remember going out of the yout head , and going out of the Boxes , that life puts you in . Because most of the Protagonists was or will be going through some rough transFormations , which has it's psychologicall pandane or a synonime , it's called PTSR or PTSG , so to explain it , i'll call another 2 of them , that had adversities , that many of us had , so the Batman and the Green Arrow , i bet you didn't know , they're an Assassins , but only from DC Universe.

Most of the people do not care about the philosophy preached by Assassin's Creed Franchise, but your video help a lot to put light on those dark areas of the plot. Thank you very much! Very Grateful.

The philosophy is what makes the characters so awesome. I just wished people would recognize that instead of how cool does this character act and look and play. So many characters achieve this that are underrated like Altaïr himself, Or Connor, Shay, Bayek, and so many more. Take your pick. I love all of the characters so much and im so happy to have discovered this series before i pass from this world.

Haven't seen the video yet but I always felt AC1 had such a unique tone compared to other AC games. Whereas many of them had a Hollywood action movie flair to them AC1 just always felt much darker and more sinister even in tone.

the only thing i don’t like about altairs story is the fact that in the first revelations memory, from before the events of ac1, altair was portrayed as wise and thoughtful. in the start of ac1, though, he’s brash and arrogant

A thoughtful and beautifully analysis on easily AC's best character. Altair is a very unique character, whose subtle, yet meaningful drive to learn, understand and change gradually made him one of my favorite characters as I played the game the first time. Altair's story arc (and particularly the way it is written) is one that we do not see very often. When my sister played the game, she said that she liked Altair's character because he managed an interesting blend of being "flexible yet firm", which is exactly what I liked from him as well. He manages to open his mind to the point of view of other characters while remaining firm in what *he* perceives as right or wrong. This is easily noticeable when he apologizes to Malik but afterwards remains steadfast in his believes and choice of action when Malik insists he should consult with The Master rather than chase Robert De Sable.

I would like to see an analysis about Shay Patrick Cormac from ac rogue considering he and Altair had similar traits of questioning the creed and both of their actions changed the creed... One way or another. Another interesting point is that in the first ac game the templars were portrayed as a noble group trying to achieve peace through order as stated by Mualim, however the later games they were just some evil guys. Rogue managed to capture the tone of templars from the first game.

I think one of the most important events in Altair's life was the death of Abbas' father. That's what made a young Altair be obsessed with growth and status since he learned as a child that men prefer death to this dishonor. This eventually developed into the arrogance that led to his downfall. And his rise right afterward, during the events of AC1, is what made him become the wise man he became in old age. Disgracing himself is exactly what allowed Altair to begin to understand the Creed. Not out lf obligation or circumstance, but out of a choice to uphold the beliefs and the tenants of the order

@@TheSpaniardAssassin My issue wasn’t so much with the quality of the voice acting, its the change itself I didn’t like. Even if both actors had the exact same accent their voices sound nothing alike. They sound like two completely different characters because the pitch and intonation in the voices don’t match at all. Also the change was pointless because thats the last game Altair appeared.

@@TheSpaniardAssassin That would be really cool. I always found his story to be an interesting one because he is neither really an assassin nor a templar throughout the entire game. Unlike most protagonists in the franchise, his perspective is very neutral about the whole conflict, always questioning what he is killing in the name of with only the Templars giving him something definite. A lot of fans say that the assassins here act out of character but if I'm being honest, I genuinely don't think so. The group has always made exceptions with the tenets of their creed. They operate with a brand and a signature look. Even their bases have insignias and the like. They've always worked with lower class criminals like bandits and pirates. Protagonists have compromised their own brotherhood countless times. This is not to say they aren't the lesser evil but they have been flawed from the start. And Rogue, to me, is a great highlight of this. That the dogmatism in their ranks can be a big problem. What do you think?
