This great remake evoked all of the emotions I had leading up to my fight with Asgore. -Confusion, when I discovered I had to kill him. -Deep-seated terror when finding the coffin he had made just for me. -Grim acceptance of my own impending death. -A soul rending decision, as I did not want to die, and did not want to kill. *Moments later, I raged and quit the game for good because he kept killing me.*

Those first 48 seconds were quite the wait, i will say, but thanks to the comments I stuck around long enough to hear the masterpiece that is the rest xD

Asgore was my favorite theme in the entire game (not entirely true, favorite part is bergentrücking, which is technechly a different song) it outclasses Hopes and Dreams and Megalovania IMO, but not by much.

That reminds me of an unbreakable universal rule I made a long time ago. Take a word or phrase that exists and has 2 different words within it. Take the first word and move it to the end, insert other words to connect the 2 so it makes sense. It instantly sounds more badass/epic. Examples: Undertale becomes Tale from Under Assault Rifle becomes Rifle of the Assault You get the idea.

This is possibly the best piece of musical material ever created by a non-professional. This is better than most music professionals make. Bach is whimpering. Beethoven has been put to shame. Newton is spinning in his grave. Cancer and Ebola were cured. Poverty isn't a thing. ISIS was destroyed. All because of this musical wonder.

I TOLD you to listen to UNDYNE when she told you about ASGORE.'' *Within a second, ASGORE'S eyes shine orange and blue at an alarming rate, you try make out the pattern to the best of your ability. Within a second you're left on 10 HP. In poor condition and wounded, you eat butterscotch pie. You remain determined. *ASGORE is reminded who he's fighting for! *ASGORE's attack increased! *ASGORE's defense increased! *Suddenly, his trident ignites into blue. He raises his trident to the ceiling, with dozens of fireballs circling him and his weapon. Twilight shines through the barrier; the day has never seen more beautiful. ASGORE looks straight at you, aiming his trident towards you and strikes. Large fireballs split into four. It seems almost unavoidable. You get struck by his trident, leaving you mortally wounded. *The pain is no longer bearable, a feeling of oppression overcasts me. Not because of your body burning into ash, but because ASGORE is taking your SOUL.* TALES FROM THE UNDER

This is, hands down, the absolute best remix for Asgore's theme. It perfectly captures the original feeling of the song when many others just feel like a "cool copy".

Asgore stands in the middle of a dimly lit room, with the golden sun rays merely poking through the barrier. He turns around and focuses a sharp eye onto you, breathing steadily as he plans his first and final actions. Drawing his trident, he jams the base into the cracked tiles and emits a faint, shimmering light. You stare eye to eye, the final obstacle in your path. There is no spare, there is no regret. There is no action. It's only fight.

the thing I like the most about the original is that Toby came and made it go along with how the intensity of the game greatly increased by going into the battle and then becomes even more intense later on....this remix took that and made it even better I love this

Add a 0 next to that 65 and then it will make more sense. But honesty this is most likely the best cover I have heard for Undertale, let alone other games. Extraordinary work, one of the most underrated things I have ever seen in my life.
