Thinking about it, Toby really likes to self-deprecate. Papyrus is the purest character and the Annoying Dog is literally the only character he straight out dislikes.

I love how all the shrines have continuity in them. The PS4 is obviously the first one. Then the second one which is the Switch, it’s the same stuff but destroyed and the blue and red door for the Switch. Then , the Xbox version is finally ready to clean it all away
@@pyrusmew5 it’s in Sans and Papyrus’ house. If you go in the kitchen and go in Papyrus’ super tall sink after looking at it, you can go in there. This is only on the console versions, not PC

man toby is such a troll, he used all that spare time and motivation to code all flowey's and toriel's dialogues in hard mode ending knowing he could've used all that time to complete at least half of snowdin, all he had to do was tweak up a lil story and bullet patterns and a few other stuff here and there and almost everything would've been the same. bro knew what he was doing
From what he's been saying about deltarune, bullet patterns take a while to properly design and test. It was fine for the ruins as those monsters appeared in the core, but he'd have to reprogram and possibly redesign all snowdin monsters from scratch

I'm really happy each console has it's own version of the dog shrine stuff (actual shrine for PS4, Mad Mew Mew for Switch, and Casino for XBox), adds individuality even if it means I'll never get to gamble my life savings away because i don't own a Sexbox (not complaining too much tho since I get the boss which is the most interesting IMO)
Lol, a few hours ago, I found something in the RU-vid settings that says “stats for nerds” I didn’t understand what it does and I enabled it, I figured out how to use it and it’s a little box that shows me the framedrop, volume, ID, and other things
8:07 I’m pretty sure this is a reference to a kids show called “Blue’s Clues”. I remember watching that show when I was younger lol. I think the show was about a blue colored dog with darker blue spots named Blue, and he had an owner (i dont remember that guy’s name) and they just found clues and somehow blue colored paw prints were related to the clues.? something like that
I have something that could happen if you choose dog or annoying as your name. So the dog appears while dogsong plays. The dog lays down on the backspace and when the name is gone, the dog runs off screen.
"The Dog Salas was absorbed by the darkness" would have been such a funny non sequiter if it wasn't for the fact darkness is a key to understand Deltarune
Guys I think I messed up, I died to sans too many times and died once more and the annoying dog appeared, (whole screen black, just with the dog) , started dancing playing this weird wonky theme and did not stop. So I had to leave the game and come back, which made me reset. I tried to start over, doing a pacifist run, died to Toriel for one stupid mistake and it's back . Won't let me do anything. Please help omfg
Seems you’ve broken the game somehow; the dancing dog thing is called dogcheck, and is how the game stops you from doing stuff you shouldn’t with save editing and the like. Try googling how to disable dogcheck and see what happens.
So the annoying dog made undertale, in universe, or more likely deltarune within the universe of Undertale. Then the game on Asriel's PC resembling the end of Undertale might be more than speculation right? 20:22
@@Yeay_yusuf yeah it can be a reference to Deltarune but it looks a lot more like the "Paula's call was absorbed by the darkness" sentence from Earthbound's final fight
