I was a kid when i became a Laker fan and there wrre these guys, West, Wilt, Baylor, then Kareem, Nixon, and all the greats to Magic, Worthy, and on to Shaq and Kobe and Pau etc. And up to today and its heartbreaking a great player in James who doesn't care if you watch or ard a fan, who is overpaid by millions at this late stage of his career, and the drama and bs that comes with him has ruined the game more than helped it. I no longer watch ball except the occassional few minutes and here is Keyshaw wondering what happened? Why didn't Klay come home? Nope, I disagree. I think their biggest priority should be getting someone who can put the ball on the ball and get his own points, with some decent vision. If Luka or Kyrie, or both at the same time are injured or in foul trouble, Dallas will have a team full of 2 dimensional players and the offence will struggle.

Why would you play with old bron when you can play with luka, who last 3 years have been better than ANYTHING bron has EVER been able to produce? Better passer by far, better scorer, better rebounder, smarter, better handle, more clutch and younger. Especially rn you have to be a fool to choose a bron over luka if you have the choice. The mavs are also seasoned having just gotten to the finals, lively the rookie will be better next year, and the mid season pickups gafford and pj will have a actual training camp. The chemistry (which was already very good) will be better. They will probably tweak something mid season again as well

We got lively from that, we have a more complete team, and younger, with a guy who can do everything lebron can do currently at a higher rate. Klay is not the Klay of old, anybody thinking this move is going to result in a championship is delusional, we all saw age creeping into Kyrie and Luka can only do so much, being a jump shooting team might get you to the big dance but it won’t get you any further
Mavs don't need him to be Klay of old, they just need him to be better than THJ. Klay, even at this point in his career, is infinitely better than THJ.
