You either like it or don't. It's not for everyone, sure, but if you do wear it proudly because YOU enjoy it, and not what reviews or comments on the interwebs tell you.
What's your favourite overpriced watch using the NH35? Mine is the Unimatic Modelo Due. Beautiful looking if maybe too tall...? I don't know as I've never seen one in real life. But I read that they were initially supposed to use Miyota high beat movements, then cheaped out (you can see on the case back they get the beat rate weirdly wrong and apparently someone cracked one open and the spacer is a weird bodge that fits the Miyota 9015). Very pretty though...
By allowing buyer to inscribe initial on the dial is an attraction as it would make it your very own watch. Arguably, priceless. The Cali dial should allow opening for date but guess one can opt for the classic dial with date opening.
Hi Oleg ! I am glad to see a video where the truth is said ! I am tired of videos of people saying that asking US$ 520 for a quartz watch from a unknown brand is a "good option" or that it is Ok that a bronze watch (from an almost unknown chinese brand) costs US$ 100 more than it's stainless steel version just because it has "500M" written in the dial instead of "300M", even when you know that neither of these numbers correspond to the true water resistance rating. Also, when I walk in the streets, I see less and less people wearing watches every day. The young people because they grew up in the cell phone era and the older guys because they lost/broke their watches and think that watches are not worth buying anymore. However, even having less people buying watches than cell phones, what I see are watches becoming more and more expensive ! It seems that it is kind of a "niche" and we are all rich and stupid people, ready to spend our money with any chinese watch brand that do "homages" to several famous watches using cheap movements.

Just ordered the watch recently. Do not agree with your negative review, but will have to see it for myself when it arrives. The unevenly applied lume is a big red flag which I will have to check.
The dial looks good, but that's about it. All your negatives make sense, and I always think it looks a little silly when non-Rolex watches use the Mercedes hands.
Hi Oleg, I always do appreciate your honesty in your reviews. There is another watch guy who made a video on youtube about these undone watches. I don't want to give the name as it was so negative. Since I have never seen one in person or felt it, I can't comment too much, but he said it was overpriced garbage and his teenage kids would not even wear any of them. I think all of their watches I have seen for review are overpriced pass the point of even showing any interest. They use Seiko's movements and if you buy the Seiko brand one it will be better build quality, better lume, and a whole lot less money.
@@24hourstime I have cut my "Watch" youtube channels in half. There are just so many. I was looking for a review of the Dan Henry Mecha Quartz on your channel. I can't remember if it was called 1963, 1965 or something like that. Had three subdials. One for 24 hour time, one for seconds and one for the chronograph minutes and of course it had the standard hands. It had very nice dials to choose from. Not sure if you reviewed that. I have a friend who bought one.
Plexi glass is broadly used for vintage watches like Rolex vintage and pam 372 etc, i do like the warm touch (and not flashy) with plexi glass on vintage
Appreciate your honesty with this one. The California dial is the only positive I see. This video could have would have been much better with more footage of Mr. Bond and less of the bad watch.
I really like the way this watch looks but you can buy an Invicta 8926OB Sub homage with the same seiko movement for around 65$ on amazon... IMO if you buy this watch you're paying a big premium (400% increase) for the custom look and initials.
Nice review! I like the watch size except for the thickness...15mm is way too thick. Lots of nice touches, but i don't think the Mercedes hands really pair with the California dial (not a fan of those, to be honest). Waffle design is really nice, and while I like the idea of the hexagonal crown, I have a feeling I wouldn't care for it in person. Always look forward to your vids and love the Undone chronograph!
The NH35 movement is a work horse movement, I think the watch is good looking watch & while you provided a review based on your experience with the actual - you left out the fundamental key selling feature of the UNDONE brand, the fact that the end user can customise the watch like change out that zulu strap for something different at the time of order & make it more personal to them.
I would have to agree, lots of negatives. I really don’t like the hour hand, looks even worse with a sword minute hand. The case is actually kind of cool, but very thick for only 100m wr. Polycarbonate is a type of plastic, nothing special there, prone to scratching. A sapphire crystal like that probably would be expensive. Also, it has a display case back and the movement is completely stock, not even a custom rotor. Finally, your only getting a Zulu strap. You might find this interesting, Doxa is releasing a new vintage inspired Diver, the Sub 200. I was able to get the 130th Anniversary Shark Hunter Version. There are also going to be other versions. I just thought you might like checking it out.
Hey Oleg.. I agree not a lot of watch for your money. It’s image is a urban explorer, how about a screw down crown,sapphire crystal and a NH38 movement with a 200 meter water resistance then you have value for your dollar. So many better quality watches at this price point.
Hi Oleg, thanks for the review again. this time, I liked it way more than others. As for this watch, like you said, it has few short-comings, such as being bit too thick, strange lug design. And instead of that strap which makes the watch even thicker, it should have come with either a nice aged brown leather strap or even a metal strap. That would have been very nice. For me, I like the California Dial (well... I live in Los Angeles :+) ha ha ha) it looks kind of interesting and different than others and specially I like the colors of the numbers and letters. The color makes it bit vintage looking which I really like. Oleg, I have a question for you. It is about the placement of the brand name "UNDONE". now it is at 6 O'Clock position where normally country of origin is at. and in many people's view who does not know about UNDONE brand, they will probably think that this watch is Sterile, like many Chinese brands, like Panis, Corgeut...etc. Do you think that it would be better to place the brand name under 12 o'clock? or just leave it where it is? Perhaps they (UNDONE people) intentionally put the brand name where it is to represent the meaning of "UNDONE"? What do you think Oleg? thanks and hope to hear from you. and good day!
Hi Alex, I think the logo placement by the 6 o'clock position is something Undone is doing with all of their watches. I prefer the standard log by 12 but I can appreciate something different. Not a big fan of sterile dials. I think it looks too empty lol

I had some of the same complaints about the Version 1. I really liked the overall design but there were a little too many negatives. I think you nailed all of them. Both Versions 1 & 2 have so much potential but the execution and materials used is all wrong. Version 3: Miyota 9000 series movement, new crown, get it under 13 mm depth, and clean up the case.
Love a Cali dial! Nice watch, - make the bezel a 12h second time zone, ditch the awful Mercedes hour hand , make the crystal Sapphire (or knock £100 off the price) & I'd buy one- & put it on a nice chunky Milanese. Cheers 👍👍
Instead of saying you don't know what polycarbonate is you could have looked it up. Otherwise, it's a good review and I agree with your views on this watch.
The watch does look quiet good....I like the dial, the thickness wouldn't bother me, bit for 100m it is definitely strange....the crown is not good, I've had a watch with a similar crown before, gave it away as I didn't like it in use....for myself I prefer NATO's, but if a watch company opts for such a poor quality strap especially when decent ones are still really cheap it makes me wonder what else they've cut back on....all this aside they do produce some cracking pieces so I still look forward to seeing what they do next....⌚🏴⌚🏴
Too thick, uneven lume application, California dial, Mercedes hands...ugh. I can forgive the acrylic crystal and the bidirectional bezel as I love Vostok, but the rest...no. Good review, Oleg.
It lost me as soon as soon as I saw the California dial. I’ll never understand the appeal of this dial. I do like the movement and I have several watches with it, but without that date, I don’t think I would enjoy them as much. Thanks Oleg.
Polycarbonate is a plastic and it is also used in construction workers hard hats. Not likely to break but scratches and scuffs easily and prone to white scratches. Undone maybe a step removed from MVMT
Hi ;) nice review, but price, thickness and combination hands and dial not fits for me. In ma opinion would be fair price 200-250. Nh-35 is realy spit in face to potential custoner for mostly 500 dolls. Have a nice day and Bond too :)
I’m not into micro brands, this NH35 everywhere. If you watch only micro brand watch reviews you might start to believe that there are no other movements at all. Just make a watch construction site where you can configure the case and slap nh35 inside. Ah, hell and ETA 2824 in every other Swiss made entry level... Just so sad and boring.
My suggestion in your previous video is proved to be much better than this watch by this review.The lume sucks and the price is outrageous,my watch has the date feature (which i wish it didn't) and is genrally an all round better product.Hugs for Bond.................
undone is the new invicta, absolutely classless. I went to their website thinking I was going to put together something unique and was met with a screen page of some homeless looking street guy in a red plastic jacket from a bad 90s movie, the watch in the picture said and I am not kidding " zero fuc&s given" printed on the dial. yeah sorry to anyone who bought one of these. not that they were ever going to be collector pieces anyway but for me they just became unwearable.
why didnt he change the watch ban if he didnt like it? he had it over 1 year and why didnt he tell the company about the lum so thie could of fix the problem? your given a free watch and you dont take the time to email the company and tell them the problem so thie can fix it? what good is it of them to give you the FREE watch and you dont even take the time to tell the whats wrong with it now the Company Sold over 1 year of watches to people with bad watch ban and and lum and all the other problems like the watch movement. his Review came a little to late now dont you think how many people brought this watch and now there saying this guy dont know what he talking about. dont get me wrong. your given a free watch then Review it the right way or whats the point in having a channel to Review Watches.
