Armand i love your reviews, Always very detailed and informative. After seeing your review for this watch i just had to go over and design one for myself. I must have spent nearly 2 days going back and forth with the various elements before I finally settled on what i considered the perfect watch for me. I added it to the basket and tried to use your discount code but unfortunately it disnt work. Was this a limited time offer Undone said they were goimg to do ? I know it isnt a vast sum of money but that discount would have bought me a couple of extra straps.

Hope anyone who bought one can answer this question. How are the straps holding up over time? They are 40USD, which is priced similarly to Colareb straps etc. This is the only "vintage style" strap I have found with quick release spring bars, and wanted to buy some for my other 20mm lug watches. Unless someone else knows any other company who makes these straps with quick release? Really appreciated Armand for talking about the spring bars being universal in diameter. Thanks in advance!

Hi Armand, great vid o remember seeing this on Kickstarter and found it quite nice. Anyway I would like to get your opinion on a micro brand I stumbled upon, it's called Mr Jones watches and they have affordable unusual automatic watches, some of them are jump hours sub 200 so I found It quite surprising. I would like to know if you like/recommend any time pieces by them!

I really like how the chrono second hand moves more like an automatic / mechanical movement. I have a Citizen Eco-Drive Signature Collection chrono and it acts the same way. Many times I'll just leave the chrono on just to see that smooth sweep and it gives me the impression that I'm wearing an automatic / mechanical movement. These look like good and interesting pieces and the configuration capability is a nice touch. Thanks Armand, another job well done.

I'm going through the other comments and it seems that someone else had the same issue 3wks ago and you managed to fix it. Hope you can do it again :) It was working yesterday when I tried but I was still working on my back case logo. If there is an expiry date on the coupon, it would be good to know...

Why don't they make the sub seconds hand sweep, too. like the chronograph one. I hate the tick, tick of quartz.

whilst it is true that plating can come off in my experience of owning many gold plated vintage Timex´s from the 1950´s/60´s/70,s this is not as big an issue as it is made out to be as the plating one what were cheap watches back then has not come off at all and that is with watches that would have been worn every day unlike today when the type of watch you are reviewing is unlikely to be the owners only watch.

Can't new watch manufacturers make their own movements today! They can in China obviously! I'd prefer a Sea-Gull mechanical than a Seiko drone.

Sea-gull mechanical....of questionable QC, or Seiko drone... world famous, leading edge innovator. I do have to agree, I would rather have a mechanical - the quartz 'tick" is like nails on a chalkboard - but I can't imagine a scenario where I would choose a Seagull over a Seiko movement. And I live in China
