You're supposed to use a 100% steam distilled additives and fragrance free Rose Water as a toner and then layer a moiturizer on top of it. Rose water is not a moisturizer but a mild astringent which helps in shrinking your pores and balancing your skin ph levels.
I adore rose water. It is especially beneficial if it has extra nutrients like glycerine, vitamin B, green tea etc. I buy rose water and add hyaluronic acid and silk amino peptide powder and my skin literally feels like cream. When I make this it also makes a great perfume primer because it hopes the balance, the pH in the skin and moisturizes the skin to hold fragrance better. It is also great for hair.
I suggest u make rose water at home store bought always have fragrance added though pure one has a mild fragrance Making it is really easy nd many tutorials are available online Coming to its benefits it has MANYYYY trust me but u need to follow it up with a moisturizer and use it as a toner Add one or two cloves in the bottle and your face will literally shine Spray it when ever u wash your face and apply moisturizer. And also use it for at least 20 days U will definitely see the glow nd the pimples are definitely not because of rose water its the most gentle skin care one can have
I started my skincare first using rose water on my face before i sleep when i had no knowledge about skincare then one of my friend told me that its just a toner , you need to apply moisturizer also. From then i use rose water as toner every single day, it suits me . Mine is senstive skin. In summers whenever i feel hot i put rose water in fridge n spray it on my face , it helps me to soothe my face. I use natural rose toner from vadi ❤️ homemade rice water is also very beneficial to our skin.but moisturizer is mandatory after applying toner ☺️
I had a similar experience… there is only one brand of rose water that worked for me, and that’s the one with glycerin. You are the first person who I’ve heard of who speaks about rose water giving them a negative reaction. I also had little bumps on my face after using it.
I dont know if the brand you're using is providing organic fresh rosewater or not but i have dry flaky skin and for summers the rose water is enough for hydration.. i use the raworganica fresh rosewater but they dont deliver worlwidr they only deliver in pakistan...so for me rosewater is a HOLY GRAIL! Specially for days when i dont feel like putting heavy moisturizers
Hey if you want to use it as a moisturizer. Add 2 3 drops of glycerine and leave it overnight. Glycerin hydrates your skin. It really work wonders. Btw love your videos.❤
Nimesha let me clear up the air here , Rose water is NOT a moisturizer , so it is not going to hydrate your skin alone . But , if you use rose water as a toner , that is before applying your moisturizer, steps : cleanse , rose water , asap moisturize and see the hydration you feel on your skin . It definitely works like this , not as an alone product
Everybody don’t gotta wash they face especially if they face already clear and hydrated like mine so all I need is something like a spray I don’t wash my face my skin is clear I have average to good skin but it’s organic rose water out here u can use it by it self

I would follow through with Rose Oil mixed in with your choice of serum. My mature dry skin just sinks it in. Plus next time you might want to add glycerin to your rosewater to hold the moisture in.

Hey, did you just use rose water and not followed it up with moisturizer or something hydrating? Use this as a toner, I think since you skipped moisturizer completely it caused your dry skin to produce more oil and hence the breakouts. I use rose water daily as toner right after cleansing and it works wonderfully and then follow it up with my regular skincare. ♥️
Rose water is good for skin but it's not moisturizing at all. After applying rose water you have to apply some kind of moisturizer. And if you want to apply rose water then add some vitamin E oil and mix it properly and then apply and if you want you can add a little bit aloevera gel and shake it properly, and here you complete moisturizer is ready in a sprey bottle. I have extremely dry skin and I have tried this method and it works wonder. But rose water, vitamin E and aloevera has to be pure or original. Otherwise chemical products will not work.❤️🔥
It's ok .. to use rose water your skin is adjusting with new skin care product thats why its brking out it will be fine if u use it for a month ... Rose water can never affect anyones skin ... But if the brand is adding any additional flavour then only it will react on sensitive skin
Try Imperialis moisturizer from Lush. Works wonders and you only need a little. Using Ultrabland cleanser to remove make up is great because it also locks in moisture while cleansing
Rose water is very gentle. Go to ethic stores ( Arabic or Indian) and get yourself a real rose water for 2-3 dollars and give it a try. That could be, like you said, just some water with rose fragrance
you need to use rose water as a toner between your normal skincare routine not all by itself, rose water is a natural toner it'll help balance your skins ph level and hydrate your skin BUT it would not give you direct hydration speaking this as a brown Indian girl(in my late teen btw) I've been using rose water from last 2 months after my mum's suggestion and my skin has never been better my inflammation has gone down hyperpigmentation has reduced and this soft.plus. it's all natural with lil to no chemicals. ofc it's not gonna be suitable for every skin type so make sure to do patch test if you're using rose water in any of your natural remedy. p.s love you nimesha🥰 always waiting for your videos .
I wouldnt use it as a moisturizer I would use it more as a product to help with redness and irritation. I just added it to my routine while still using a normal moisturizer and it really helped with redness
So you use it for a couple days and dt like it. First make sure its real rose water not other ingredients on the bottle added to delute it. I feel refreshed and a natural glow after. I also use it as a setting spray when i do blush and concealer to blend it all together. I love it and it will give you benefits and keep the skin youthful. Your young but when you get old it will show it works.❤ dont give up. Use it for a setting spray after im telling you it eorks better then primer settimg sprays.
You can use it by mixing glycerine in it , 5 parts of rose water 1 part of glycerine. I use 1part glycerine in 5 parts of drinking water with few drops of hyaluronic acid serum in it because only diluting glycerine irritates my skin a little bit as I have acne prone skin .

@Nimeshaa Dear i would like to point out some things that can help you in liking rose water more. Firstly it should be tapped into your skin after spritzing it with the help of your fingers. Secondly rose water on uts own is not enough. It shoud be followed by your normal skincare regime. Third the most probable reason for you breaking out is you getting your periods after a week during the shooting of the video. So for full results of rose water please do keep these things in mind. Also an indian rose water that works the best is Gulabri Gulaab Jal or Gulabari Rose water. Thankyou so much and i hope this helps

The same thing happened with me! I start breaking out every time i use rose water, bare faced or mixing with face packs as well.. i don't think it's bcz of the rose water but the chemicals used in preserving the product might not be suitable for those with sensitive dry skins(like mine)

Okayy so I used to use rosewater too but I used it after washing my face and before applying moisturizer,I would spray it and let it dry. I don’t know but i have too asked to use rose water since a child and i tried but it doesn’t suit me . I not a makeup girl so it’s just simple everyday skincare for me and when i tried rose water for the first time , my skin started turning red and it really gave me pinching pain all over my face , tried for like 2 weeks and it was still the same . I don’t know , since then i stopped using it.

I tried kama’s rose water which is so pure. But that didn’t improve my skin it just worsen it more. I stopped using toners since that time coz rose water is most gentle and still it broke me out.
i use rose water with alovare and its really good i use it as my toner my face has become as smooth and less try and also it will help with clear and lot of tiny bumps but the result we get are going to take long time also it depends on the sking type , and also which brand the rose water is from so find sth which suits ur skin

@@Nimeshaa then your face being dry is normal because rose water is considered to be like a toner. And after toner, a moisturizer is must. Toner can't replace moisturizer.
@@Nimeshaa no I had chicken pox/small pox six months back and skin was totally damaged I started using Dabur rose water after the bottle was finished I couldn't get the same brand rose water the brand was changed it was harmful and efected my skin so i prefer prefer to use Dabur for all types of skin it wil just change the skin like anything so effective
