Hey Cassiz I have to ask you this question. I have been a fan of your content since the lotharingia video but I haven't felt inspired enought untill this january to make a video myself. MY question is : How have you managed to edit 2 large campaings in this time? I have being like 2 month of editing and i am only like 1/2 of the video. How did you manage to do this?

@@nicones1285 good question. Firstly i dont record everything in game. I only record the interesting stuff that happens like weird events, wars and just funny stuff that happens in game. This way you reduce the amount of time you would be looking through content cause that is boring. With editing is just get some music playing or a poddcast and start editing. This way i wont get distracted or something. I hope this helps? :)

@Marie Tsuki and any mention of a “Russian” culture is also spewing Russian propaganda. Ukrainian, Russian, German, French, British; you name it, it did not exist as a unified nationality until the 18th-19th centuries. You are however wrong in saying that a Ruthenian identity is false. They were simply East Slavs under Poland and Belorussians mostly under Lithuania, and their time alongside Cossack nomad culture separated them from the northerners who were Muscovites, Novgorodians, Karelians, Smolenskians, Tverians, etc etc which later became Russians, especially under Tsar Peter. Importantly, Ruthenian wasn’t merely the term Catholics used to refer to “Russians,” which would be more accurate to say “Rus” instead. When the Zaporizhzhian Cossacks and the eventual Hetmanate declared independence from Poland, they attempted to create a name for their new national identity, especially in the 18th century when nationalism was born. Ruthenian, Ukrainian, Rusyn(now used by the Zakarpatian East Slavs), and other words were used to attempt to create a name for the new nation, and Ukrainian eventually trumped all the others. Ruthenian was seen as too Polish and Rusyn as too Russian to be adopted. Nations weren’t pulled out of asses, there was a diversion of history and Ukrainians and Russians diverted when the Mongols burned down Kyiv in in 1240, although they were never one people to begin with, as the Rus’ was not a singular country as in the modern sense, but rather a collection of principalities initially ruled by a single dynasty which frequently warred with each other. The brief time Ukrainians were part of the same state as Russians was met with countless oppression from the Russians, yet you claim it is the Ukrainian far right, a minority that is practically nonexistent since 1945, is the boogie man the entire time?

@@marietsuki wrong. There was such identity and it was distinctly different from muscovite identity. You should see ethnic/language maps from this time, you will see that even cartographers from western Europe have used terms "Ruthenia" and "Muscovy" separately.

Ruthenia as a unified nation never existed, it's a term that historians use to describe the states that were under the control of the Rurik dynasty.

Well in general Lithuania was officially called "Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Rus, Zhemoytysky" and was a union, not a state, but the Catholic Pope wanted to cross the Orthodox into Catholics, so he pushed to the creation of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Well in general in Zaporozhye region were based the army of Cossacks, which protected Ruthenian lands from Osman and steppes. But when Polish princes began to take away the Ruthenian lands in the Confederacy, the Kozaks rebelled, seized most of the country and became the trigger for renaming Ruthenians into Ukrainians - which literally means "in the country", i.e. a citizen of their country.

Just shows how Muscovy stole previous name of Ukraine.
